Ennio's Pasta House

Came for dinner and had a great time. Our server was friendly and quick, able to get drink orders in right away. House bread was warm and fresh. Ordered the chicken parmigiana with a side Caesar salad. Large portion sizes, a giant piece of chicken that was well breaded came out nice and hot, crispy outside with a juicy inside. Nice family atmosphere, good value for what you pay.

This place is so-so. There are definitely better Italian places for similar price. The vibes are different, depending on your liking, it may or may not seem appealing to you. Their food is not the best and definitely not as authentic as other Italian restaurants. We went around 7 pm on a Tuesday night and it was somewhat busy. And despite not being packed to capacity, their service was very slow. We sat at our table for over 15 minutes and no one even came to even ask for water. And then once the food order was placed, it took just around 35 minutes for the food to be ready. Both, the food and the service, can be improved drastically.

The staff was friendly, and they kept asking for feedback during the meal. I started with Italian salad, and I liked the sauce on that. I ordered Annabella and the pasta and chicken were well-cooked but the tomato was a little dry, and there was too much sauce on that.

Food was amazing and customer service was top notch. The kitchen had closed and we forgot to order the dessert.However Eric went out of his way to get us desserts past their closing time. Loved the dessert and thank you for going out of your way to make our experience better. Will definitely return :

If you want Italian this is definitely the place to go. I’ve had a couple of their pastas and they have all been amazing. Great selection of appetizers as well. Staff is always friendly and service is usually pretty quick.

The worst restaurant experience we have ever had in KW. No appetizers for over an hour. Had to call our server continually for eta on food. Half our party did not get what they ordered. Pizza dough was raw. How are you still in business??? We were totally embarrassed taking family out for dinner to celebrate my husband being 1 year cancer free. Why did you allow this to happen? You blamed it on logistics and meatballs which no one got. Shameful.

Ennio’s is by far the best Italian restaurant I have ever been to. This was my first time here at the Waterloo location but I have been to the Kitchener one multiple times and had other pizza and pasta dishes before and each and every time Ennio’s never disappoints!!! My absolute favourite is the carbonara. It is so creamy and just packed with flavours upon flavours. My boyfriend ordered the Aglio Olio with prosciutto and steak, then for dessert, their amazing made in house Nutella gelato! It was so delicious, the prices are reasonable and so worth it!! Staff at both locations are so pleasant and service is fantastic. This is my go-to restaurant for pasta and I highly recommend it to all of the Italian cuisine lovers out there!!!!!

Food & service are okay. Nothing mind blowing but comfort, home-style Italian food & dishes are presented nicely! Menu provides details about each dish & not too hard to navigate. There’s a small parking lot at the back!

Expensive pasta! But… super duper yummy! I always keep coming back for take out or dine in but it’s always been a comfort food when stressed. Their sauces and meatballs are to die for! I also love their Cesar salad as well. High quality and authentic Italian. The mussels were great. The shrimp is a bit bland. The service here was good as well. Bread was served beforehand. It is a bit of a pricey place but it's worth its cost. The tiramisu is also authentic. The taste satisfaction of my dish was pretty good - looking forward to trying other dishes.
