Our first visit did not dissapoint. Our server was very fast and very friendly! We got our garlic bread right away. If you are on a budget and want to enjoy some Italian this is the right place. I enjoyed my tomato soup and hubby his cesar salad. Plenty for sure. I ordered the chicken parmigiana and I wish the mear had some seasoning. I believe it was half a chicken breast and the thickest part was harder to eat as it was dry and no taste. The pasta that came with it...I wish it had more sauce but it was good in general. Hubby ordered a bacon carbonara with a bacon wrapped scallop skewer. The pasta was nice but not impressed about the scallops. We went to the patio and it was nice to enjoy our meal outside. We would certainly go back as I would love to try other items in the menu. Too bad we did not get the name.of our server for a nice shut out!! She was great!
If you go Saturday night, you’ll wait half an hour for a table. Any this is not the place to bring someone strictly dairy-free, as the menu is pretty much bread and cheese. But the pasta and salads are great!! My favourite is the cheese cappelletti and garden salad. And if you have Scene points you can use them to pay!
It’s east side mario after all! If you have reasonable expectations and a budget to take care of, it’s great to have all you can eat Italian. I agree it’s not authentic or homemade but this location is a fun place to be. Nice vibe, busy on a Saturday night and cheerful staff. We had a reservation so it was very smooth getting in and finding a table. I was told that without a reservation, the wait is about 1.5 hours long. We had a couple of pastas and a mains along with their unlimited soup and salad. Everything tasted well and the server was very attentive. Overall, a great dinner outing!
It was our second time going to this East Side Mario location and their service was really good. Our table ordered a Jumbo Shrimp Alfredo, a Spaghettini Primavera with Goat Cheese, a Linguine Chicken Tetrazzini and a build your pasta. Their food was really good and their salads and soup were amazing too. We requested a Caesar Salad to go and our server brought us a nice container with sauce and croutons packed separately so it wouldn’t become soggy. East Side Mario’s is definitely the place to come when you’re on a budget and want to enjoy large portions of pasta or pizza with AYCE soups and salads!
Update from last visit July 2nd 2022: Had a really bad experience this time around. The audacity of the waitress to blatantly ask for tip. We go to this ESM all the time, atleast twice a month. We always tip, but this time our bill was over 100 dollars and decided not to tip. The waitress blatantly asked us why we were not tipping in front of ours family and friends. I thought tipping is a choice. Anyways they would be losing business if they don't welcome customers who SOMETIMES decide not to tip considering we got to this ESM atheist 2 times a month, if not more. It's their choice.
Great food plus a great customer servive. Staff is very friendly. I would suggest go for any of the drinks and ask for it to be made virgin. If you like spicy ask the server how can you make the pizza and pasta spicy and you will be left with a suprise.
We ordered a family feast, which was good for the most part.. the only complaints we had was the salad was obviously not fresh on the bottom of the container there was juices from the browning lettuce… we threw it out… very hit or miss with pickup.
My husband and I decided to visit East Side Mario's a couple Friday's ago. We really enjoyed our meal. It was hot and super tasty. All of the employees that we encountered were friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend this restaurant!
nice and spacious! super welcoming and everyone was so so friendly, this location is bigger than most that i’ve been too and has a second area on a different level. service was quick, bread was good and salad was amazing !!! the cheese is the best part ofc though!!
We went here for dinner tonight and it was one of the greatest date night experiences in KW! Kelsey was our server and she was so quick, kind and efficient. Had bread for us right as we sat down, checked on us and brought everything out so quick. We were in and out within 40 minutes on a Friday evening. The bread, salad and pasta was 10/10 and such a great price + experience.
