Worst customer service ever. I am disgusted with your service, I canceled my services as I was moving. I had a home protection plan that I was unaware was a yearly contract. When I canceled I was told nothing of this... I was just asked if I wanted to transfer my services to the new address. I did not since it's another company where I now live. I received a bill asking me to pay $253 to pay out the protection plan for a house I don't even live in. I called and was told that I would have been told the payout was to be part of closing costs (I wasn't told this) I was told I would have been told I had to pay out the protection plan (I was not told this). I was transferred to a manager. I asked to hear the recording. I was always under the impression that my protection plan was on a monthly basis and was never notified when this yearly protection plan was being renewed. She put me on hold for over 15 minutes and never came back after she was very argumentative with me. Then someone called back and asked for the new home owner. Then I never heard anything until collections started calling. I called and was told there would be an investigation (this was over 2 weeks ago) I was told I wouldn't have to pay if I wasn't told this. I was told it would take 3-5 business days. I never heard back. Until collections started calling me again yesterday. I called and was told that I was sent a bill. I have not received any bill. I was told that the protection plan is online and that's where the info is. Again, Totally unaware of this before. This is a sneaky and underhanded way to do business in my opinion.

Yes, when I get Enercare support, I feel better. Because, they respect customer concern, and they have really some excellent technician. Recently, I got two experience - one is water leakage in my basement, and another was in the top floor bath room. Both resolved by Enercare support promptly. I recommend people register with Enercare to feel comfort with house maintains..

Have had the Enercare protection plan for the furnace for quite a few years and no problems until recently. A few weeks ago the furnace started pumping out less heat (66 degrees when it was set at 71 degrees). Called Enercare and a technician came out in a few days. He claimed to have spotted the problem and ordered a part. A few days later a second technician came and installed the part. All seemed well for a day then the furnace went back to the original issue (heat only to about 65 degrees no matter how high the furnace was set). Called Enercare and a third technician showed up, diagnosed a second issue and "fixed it". Within minutes of the third technician leaving the furnace was back to the original problem. Only now the house can only get to 61 degrees (15 C) (and its -20 C outside). Called the third technician right away, who then stated he would put in a call to Enercare for a service call for the next day. According to Enercare though the service call was never made by the technician so I now have to wait three days for another technician. So, at this point, I believe I should be a priority client since Enercare should have fixed the furnace right the first time. Three technicians have been unable to correct the problem (or problems). I've been lied to, a customer service agent claimed she needed to speak to the "planning team" to resolve the problem and then I was then disconnected by the agent. Yet, after calling back, a different agent stated that agents aren't allowed to contact the "planning team". I was then patronized by a supervisor who wouldn't reveal the name of her supervisor nor provide any assistance beyond getting a service in three days. Curiously, the Enercare website clearly states that they can get an technician to a customer on the same day 90% of the time. Not surprisingly, I was told that Enercare won't cover the costs of repair if I hire an outside source to fix the furnace. No concern whatsoever that my holidays have been disrupted twice. Merry Christmas. Considering the cold weather and the fact that three visits by technicians have yet to fix the problem I'm concerned that my water pipes will burst. So at this point, considering the money I spend to have "protection" when I need it, as it's claimed on the Enercare website, I can't say that I'm satisfied with the current level of service by Enercare. Perhaps I'm overreacting, I mean it's only my home and family that I'm concerned about.

My wife and i where very happy with the two technicians Ishmael & Josh for doing such amazing job!! They Let you know all the details what they going to do and heads up. They ask permission first before they do anything and the most part they clean up after. Thank you so much Ishmael and josh for installing our Furnace and A/C unit. Job well done!!

I called Enercare for a problem with my furnace and I was lucky to have Joe D'Onofrio for the service call. I can say without any hesitation it was the best service call I've ever had. He did everything you'd expect and much more. He took his time to understand the problem, was thorough in diagnosing it, explained the work he was doing and then did it with utmost care, pride and professionalism. After he had resolved the problem, he checked other things to ensure everything was in order and he provided some valuable advice. Thank you Joe for a job well done.
