It's perfect honestly. Got asics running shoes in a rather excellent condition at only $17 incl HST. See the image - isn't it just awesome? Have been loving the pair so far.nnAlso, the guy on the checkout counter was super helpful. Full marks for the effort.
This thrift shop is way bigger than expected. It has clothes, books, shoes, furniture, bedding, sports equipment, dishes and so much more. The items are well priced and a pretty good value for what you're getting. The store is well organized, neat and tidy. All the employees seemed friendly.
Great independent thrift store with proceeds supporting a church school or something like that. Very nice staff. Seem to get donations primarily from elderly ppl who pass away.nnGreat place to find artificial Xmas trees at a fair price, if you go in Nov. They always have lots! They sort things and sell them when they’re in season too.nnThey have very affordable local delivery for furniture as well. I think $25 or $50.nnI also want to say, this store is the reason I’ve been able to furnish my house. I bought a house a few years ago and due to my variable mortgage on an overpriced house, after paying my mortgage and bills, I have almost no money left despite having a very good job. Encore has allowed me to furnish my home with quality used furniture and decor. Sometimes I feel like I should make a YouTube house tour and point out ALL the Encore items. HahannBless the Encore staff and volunteers for all they do to encourage recycling of perfectly good items. Also bless the team for keeping prices fair so that ppl can do as I’ve done and survive in this impossible housing situation.
The staff are amazing. I had donated and purchased previously so when it was time to empty my mom’s apartment after her passing, they were my first choice. They did not disappoint. Their support and sensitivity organizing during a difficult time was so appreciated. Thank you
This is one of my favourite place to go whenever I want to get good quality, unique and creative things. Their customer service is so good everyone always greets you with big smile and always there to help. It has never been that I went there and didn’t got anything. I have bought home decor, books, some furniture etc. from there. Honestly I just love this place, so amazing
