Encore Books & Records

This is a great place to go if you are looking for used books and the odd knicknack. Have been going there on occasion for a few years now and will be going back the next time I want another good book to read as I enjoy reading old books that are classics or others that are just plain interesting to read. I do understand however that space issues in any single locality for many businesses can be a real issue where at this store, there are very tall book shelves that reach very high up to their tall ceilings which makes it very hard to see what the books are way up there where stairs would be a good help and do notice how busy the clerk is with other customers who I really don't have the time to wait for as I have other errands to do. Even by putting stairs there for the customers to use, it would not only be a safety issue, but their insurance premiums would go through the roof. No pun intended.

Have to leave my debit card at home or I will spend my mortgage payment here. The books are amazing be prepared to spend a couple of hours. Staff is awesome.

I didn't find what I came here for, but found some very interesting books very much in line with my out of the norm search criterias. I very much liked my first impression of this place!

Always fun to walk through, looking for that special book or record. Nice to browse in the non-digital world. Staff is very helpful and knowledgeable.
