I have never, ever been to a better animal hospital and I've had pets all my life. The building is very clean with a nice atmosphere. The receptionists are very kind and helpful, and the veterinarians are very thorough and take the time to actually talk with you about your pet in ways that are easy to understand and straight forward. They don't act like they are in a rush to get you in and out even though you know it's very busy. I only wish I had found this place sooner since I will be moving out of province shortly.

Amazing vet. My girlfriend took her do here for 16 years. When it was time for Gracie to pass away due to illness, Ellwood provided us with the most supportive and compassionate service imaginable. Straight answers, not just out to make money off of our dog's illness or our grief, dedicated room for families when the tough decision needs to be made. I live in North Van, but will definitely take our next dog to this vet.

Dr. Ray and his staff are amazing. They are so personable and kind. You never feel like an idiot when you about something that you feel like an idiot calling about. They are honest with their assessments and give you your options before they go ahead and rack up the bill. I'd recommend them in a heartbeat to anyone and everyone.

The vet is such a nice guy. Services are decently priced and the office has a very clean, calm, and comfortable atmosphere for our cats when they aren't feeling well. Would highly recommend. :)

When my dog hurt his leg I was going to alpha animal hospital. After spending over $2000 in surgery and pills he was still in pain they didn't know what they were doing at all. I decided to go to Elwood Animal hospital and the doctor seemed to know exactly what to do. They are very Knowledgeable and my dog get well in no time. The staff is also very friendly and will help you with anything. I would highly recommend Elwood Animal hospital.
