Amazing food and service at Ellen's Place. We ordered the lumpia, garlic rice, kalderetang baka, lechon kawali, and pancit for dine-in and each dish was so fresh and tasty. This was my first time visiting but will definitely be returning for some quality Filipino food. One small note for dine-in is that a 15% gratuity is added to the bill, regardless of party size.
If you are looking for Filipino food that will hit the spot this is the place to go to. Everything from the quality, quantity and price point is satisfying. The two pics I shared are sisig on the left and chop suey on the right. Each dish has a strong flavor profile that stands out on its own yet works well with either of the plain steamed rice or garlic fried rice. All dishes are sharable size so keep that in mind if you are a party of 1-2. I also recommend calling ahead of time for larger party sizes.
Was looking for some Filipino food late at night and was given a great night. Lots of awesome karaoke and the food was just amazing. Home cooked and made on the spot. We got the sinagang, patas, and fried rice. Ellen the owner greeted us personally - she is wonderful. We will be coming back.
This place is a great hangout for the older Asian parent that enjoys good food, hanging out with their barkada and karaoke! They also have live bands every weekend. Food is the best asset! if the place isn't for you, I suggest ordering a party tray to enjoy the authentic filipino food! Always a big hit at family parties. Don't know what you want I would suggest the kaldereta.
It’s a nice and clean place to chill and relax from a stressful week. They have a comedy and karoake fridays and live band on saturdays. Food was great and price is very reasonable. Staff are the most welcoming.
We’re so happy that Ellen’s is back! Delicious, fresh and high quality Filipino cuisine. This restaurant is owned by a lovely couple. They are very sweet, friendly and they really have a special relationship with all of their customers. Which is what make Ellen’s extra special. Food- always freshly cooked. Tastes absolutely delicious. good portions. We highly recommend their Sisig. Price- very reasonable! Ambiance- relaxed open space and very clean. The restau has both booths and tables, a bar. Clean washrooms. Wheelchair and stroller accessible. Parking is not that bad.
10 STARS! I ordered the Kamayan Kit/Boodle Fight for my husband's birthday, and let me tell you, EVERYTHING was amazing. I ordered two orders of the bbq pork skewers, sisig and palabok - plus lechon kawali. everything was so flavourful! and good portions too. I do not order Filipino food much because I know I can cook it myself and have experienced in the past, when the filipino resto food didn't taste good. But since, their nieces kept advertising this restaurant, I decided to give it a try since I also never experienced Kamayan Boodle fight. I had plans to order this again for my daughter's birthday at the end of the month, but now maybe I will use Mother's Day as an excuse to have it sooner! and order again at the end of the month. haha Also, Tita Ellen is super friendly! And her husband too! He saw our two little girls in the back of the car and said "I have two girls too, but older now. Welcome to the club". Very sweet family! Their food and their energy will definitely have me back!
I love ordering from Ellen’s Place!! The food is seriously so delicious... I always make sure to order extra so that I can have leftovers. Thank you for your friendly service and quality dishes!

This place is not Ellen's place any longer it is now Ngoc Yen Restaurant, Vietnamese restaurant. Very friendly hostess, nice looking environment, tasty food, a bit too salty for my taste but nevertheless worth trying it again
