Was on a work trip for a few months in Cranbrook and Ella’s did not disappoint! The food and service made me feel right at home. When you walk in they immediately make you feel like family. Looking for a great Jamaican restaurant i recommend 10/10. Thank you guys for blessing me while i was there!
What an awesome place! Food was amazing, service was even better! I'm not from Cranbrook, but now I wish I lived closer. I had the ol' fowl chicken sandwich, which is their top seller, it was excellent. But I also tried a bit of the goat curry, the jerk chicken poutine and fried chicken, all superb. Thanks so much for dinner!
It's kinda funny how I happened upon this place. It was my first time here in Cranbrook and obviously I wasn't sure about the area, so I was partially lost following directions on my phone when I saw this place and it turned out to be a blessing in disguise. With me being a Jamaican and seeing this Jamaican restaurant out of the blue, of course I'm gonna take a peak inside and it was great. The server was friendly and courteous, she ensured I was ok while waiting for my order. I like the setup of the entrance, the seating area is lovely and the menu features a lot of familiar dishes. I opted for the jerk chicken meal with rice and peas, which was all so nice. I'd definitely come back whenever I'm in the area again.
Such a fun place! Loved the crab cakes and the routine and the chicken sandwich. Aletha and Melanie were fun and attentive. Happiest place in Cranbrook...
The chicken sandwich and fried plantains were perfect and I keep thinking about the sorrel. The service was friendly and attentive. The patio was a great space and I liked that dogs are allowed.nI'll be back on my next trip to Cranbrook!
