It's a good patty, but I wouldn't qualify them as Jamaican patties. The filling is generous, the curry by far my favorite. But the taste isn't what I expected and the dough lacked the turmeric which gives it the iconic yellow colour. Friendly staff, orders come out quick and hot. The search for an authentic Jamaican patty in Vancouver, continues.

A Tasty Trip to Jamaica in Every Bite! As a lover of Jamaican cuisine, I was eager to try out this takeout restaurant specializing in Jamaican patties. The experience was nothing short of delightful! The moment I stepped in, I was greeted by the mouthwatering aroma of freshly baked patties. I purchased a mix of fresh and frozen products, and even though they were out of regular frozen beef patties, the spicy ones turned out to be an excellent alternative. The service was exceptional, as they catered to my order efficiently despite it being just minutes before closing at 7 pm. This alone made it worth the drive, and I know I'll be coming back for more. My first encounter with Jamaican patties was during my time working at The Reef on Main St. These scrumptious treats made for the perfect late-night snack, and I'm glad I found this restaurant to satisfy my cravings. I'm already looking forward to my next visit, during which I plan to try their veggie and curry-flavored patties. They have Roti as well, which I think I'll get next time too. I come here when I can for the frozen veggie patties which I bring home and keep in the freezer. They are quite decent, perhaps not quite up to what you can get in Kensington Mkt in TO, but they taste good and I love having them on hand for a tasty snack. Essential to enjoying them for me is some proper Scotch Bonnet hot sauce to put on them when you've reheated one in the oven please don't microwave, for the love of Dog. For some reason they don't have any sauce at the establishment, so if you want to get one that's hot to have while there keep that in mind. If you do get one at the shop know that the filling will be very hot so don’t take too much in your first bites and burn your mouth! The pastry is crispy and flaky like it should be. *I would love to see them add a meatless curry beef patty to the menu, vegetarians really appreciate more options!

Hidden gem that's been at the same location for decades....still the same yummy Jamaican patties I remember from 20 years ago. The beef ones are the best!

If you want good comfort food get this. It gives you a feeling that you want more. But some of the patty’s are over spiced.

We love this spot! A local local establishment with friendly staff. The quality is consistently high and there is a good variety of flavors. We like the spinach and spicy beef patties the most. They are available fresh and frozen, it’s nice to have frozen ones for emergency snacks and dinners. My toddler likes to eat the mild beef.

These aren't authentic Jamaican Patties. They are however just meat pastries. It lacks the flavour and look of what a Jamaican Patty is like. It's a pale yellow pastry supposed to be a bright yellow from turmeric, and the meat is also a pale beef color, supposed to be a dark brown. The beef patties are bland. It has some semblance of a Patty, but it tastes watered down... I think most of the people reviewing haven't had a real Jamaican Patty experience.

Very nice food! The chicken patty is the best Beef patty is great as well! They serve you the patties right from the oven very hot and juicy! Clean place! The only drawback is the size of the place can take only one person inside at each time so there is always a line up outside. They did one person inside policy due to COVID. Another problem is the Cash or Debit only. No credit card accepted which is a drawback for any place these days. Highly recommended.

While different from the East Coast, or authentic Jamaican patties, these patties are delicious! The curry beef ones are our favourite. Full of flavours reminiscent of our home in New York. These are by far the most flavourful in Vancouver!

Been living down the street from here since September & just found out about this place a few weeks ago. Finally stopped by this morning & I’m so happy I did. The hot beef and beef curry was so good & the girl at the til was nice and gave me recommendations as I told her it was my first time here ! Will be coming back next week
