I'll be honest, this place is for drinking a lot, the food is neither bad or good, it's something that has nothing extraordinary about it, But if your intention is to drink and get so drunk with Mexican music and with many Mexican people, you are in the right place. I was a little disappointed with the "licuachela" since the price was too high $35 for what they gave me since it didn't have any gummy candy and they only put three chips on top
The reason why I don’t trust anything from blogTo lol one of the worst taco spots I’ve ever tried. Carnitas extremely oily, Birria without the side soup, chicken boiled and unseasoned. My friend got the burrito and it was alright but was swimming in salsa verde and super soggy. The kitchen looked disgusting and the whole place looked not taken care off. Customer service was mellow and more focused on their phone rather than checking our table. Don’t waste your money.
We came here for dinner one night. We shared the guacamole. It was just alright. It needed salt. We also must have gotten the end of the bag of chips b/c there weren't a lot, and they were all broken. We asked for another bowl of chips, however, and they kindly obliged without charging extra. The queso fundito was the star. I don't see that on many menus. It was really good. We also had the fish tacos. They tasted fresh, but very salty. Nice service. They had a soccer game playing on a big projector. I know they have a buffet with traditional mexican foods on the weekend that I want to try.
Really delicious bakery shop and dinner and food! I love the sweets that are just the right amount of sweet and not overly sugary or with tons of icing. I had the sprinkle cookies and the specialty donut style bun pan dulce "sweet bread" and both were delicious!! The staff was really nice and answered all of my questions. The takeout food looks and smells really good as well. I will definitely be back! I got photos of the menu and all of the various sweet treats that you can see. But we'll be back for food!! The entrance has a small door but is accessible with no ramp right directly from the street.
Best mole tamale in town, 99% real Mexican flavour. The day of the dead bread is outstanding. Chilaquiles and eggs were also delicious. Barbacoa tacos are a must. Certified by a Mexican in Toronto.Food: 5/5
Food and drinks are amazing! Music is great and the staff is very friendly. If you are looking to have a great time, you have to visit this place! You won’t regret it! It’s one of my favourite!Food: 5/5
Went to the one below ground level I love this place. I had 2 sopes, my wife had enchiladas suizas and both dishes were great. Salsas were AMAZING. As a Mexican, I approve. Prices are ok. Service was a bit slow and the server forgot stuff about our order a few times but it’s ok, no big deal really. They had a DJ at some point and the music got loud, but it was a Friday night and people seemed to enjoy it, so, I can’t complain.
The service here is not good. The last two times I visited I felt swindled and left unsatisfied. First time, we got there just before 5 and I didn't know their buffet hours. You'd think they would care enough about their customers to tell them but when I asked for the buffet I was not told a thing. Almost all the food was gone and we still paid full price. The next time we went we made sure to get there early. We had to wait around 30minutes but the place was busy so that's understandable. By the time we were seated it was around 3:30. Once again no one told us no more food would be coming out and guess what, no more food was made. We had to eat our "fill" from literally only 3 dishes. These guys clearly only care about money because I had to complain more than once and even then they didn't even take off 50% of the bill even though they should have not charged us a dime for purposely not mentioning anything when we specified we were there for the buffet. I'm never going back to this place because of the lack of care for their patrons. Just remember...customers make or break your business!
Food is good, as mexican, I can say that most of the dishes have good taste, portions are rather large and buffet is good too :D sadly, I didn't like the pan dulce a lot nor the person singing not because of lack of talent but because of the place which is too small for that, we couldn't hear eachother at the table and for breakfast, it is just too much :
Delicious food! Had some tacos and enmoladas and it was really tasty. Not the fanciest of all places but worth the trip.Food: 4/5
