El Rey Mezcal Bar

Food was delicious. Everything came quickly after ordering. The server was quality, attentive and personable. Picnic tables on the patio in the shade is a great vibe. Not the place for a cheap date, because nothing here is cheap.

A great bar where you can get some really refreshing cocktails. We went for drinks and sat at the bar. The bartender was gracious enough to make us custom drinks not on the menu and those were amazing. Their signature drink that is named something like "windows.." is a must try for someone looking for a fresh twist. Overall a good place!

With Seven Lives and Taco Gus right around the corner, I'm not sure what this place has over them. Our squid tacos were flavorful, but it wasn't enough to save a rather anemic and pricey menu. Portion sizes were small yet the tacos were starting at $14.95. Also, the mushroom molates tasted very basic - almost like a mushroom pizza pocket. I left pretty hungry and won't be back.

Love this place! Staff was super friendly and attentive. Music selection was fun too! We sat outside and appreciated the large patio and heaters. Food was amazing as well - we got the al pastor tacos and the special. It was flavourful and fresh — a must try if you’re in Kensington.

Great setting and welcoming vibe. The service was a little slow. I’m wondering if it’s because it was a busy Saturday afternoon. Highly recommend the Chorizo and Octopus tacos! The Lost and Found cocktail was so refreshing!!!

Very tasty tacos with a margarita. The crispy squid with tamarind was my favorite, but the chicken one was OK. Nice service, fun outside table.

The absolute best Mexican food in the city. The best mezcal, guac, margaritas, tacos, octopus, and service. The prices are reasonable and it’s always bumping. A great & delicious time!! Budget for like $50 more than you think, you’ll want more haha

Great patio spot for tacos and drinks in Kensington Market! Tacos were tasty but limited options on the menu. If you're looking for taco feast, I recommend you browse the menu before going. There's only 3 variety and one was sold out when I went. Their dine in is also available - less wait time :

The tacos were not to my liking. I think they're trying to be too fancy they forgot to put some flavour in there. The drinks was so so. The place looks nice tho

I really enjoyed my Margherita, it was delicious. The tacos are a little pricey but still tasty. I liked the patio and the ambiance.
