With the reviews being a little iffy.. I wasn’t sure exactly what to expect when I walked into Eighteen30. The moment I stepped into their heated patio, I was immediately warmed up. IT WAS HOT. It was so warm that I was sweating a little since I wore too much. I ordered the Chicken and Waffles and got the Blueberry Pancakes to share. Chicken and Waffles is my go to dish and oh my Eighteen30 did it quite well. The chicken was crispy, juicy, and flavourful. The waffles were nice and chewy. I also liked how it wasn’t overly drenched in syrup, making it the perfect sweet and savory meal to enjoy. By the end of it, I was quite full.. When the Blueberry Pancakes arrived.. I was quite full. I had a bite and it was the perfect way to finish off. I heard dinner is quite lively and delicious as well. I was very content with their brunch menu. Looking forward to trying their dinner menu when I get a chance to stop by. I highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for a nice and cozy heated patio to enjoy food!
We stumbled across this place on a Friday evening and were steated at the patio right away. Our waiter was very friendly, she was able to put in a request for a drink that wasn't on the menu, which I thought was awesome. I loved the ambiance and decor. I'm surprised at the low reviews. I'd definitely check out this place!
The potato pancake was ok, I wished the sour cream came at the side. I wished all the food came at once to the table, the staff were friendly. The experience was ok, not sure I’ll return.
We were on the lookout for an elegant dining spot no chains or cookie cutter resto and chanced upon this gem during our stay in TO this weekend. Amazing, helpful and lovely server, delicious meal try the rigatoni - you won’t be disappointed! and live music which we only caught the tail end of unfortunately made this a really enjoyable and memorable dining experience. We ordered pizza to go for dinner for later that evening and it was a great idea! Thank you again, 1830. See you the next time we are back in the city!
Love coming here! The music is always really good and the drinks & food are delicious. Paul is an amazing waiter - super personable and really goes above and beyond to make our experience a good one.
Actually had a great experience here. We were walking downtown looking for live music and discovered this place. Singer was great. Seating area ambiance was lovely. I enjoyed sitting next to the fire heater, on the couch, with a candle on the table and views of the CNE tower. Food was good too. Service was excellent.
Eighteen30 is an exceptional summer spot. The four and the vibe are great. But beyond anything the hospitality is by far a 10/10. If you're in the area and chose to check the spot be sure to ask for Teresa, not only did she give great suggestions for wine, when our ideal bottle was out she found a great alternative quick and fast. Exceptional customer service! 1830 is the spot
I really like this place for the ambience and vibe. Eighteen30 consists of a hip bar area and various seating areas for dining, so it's a great place for dinner or for catching up with friends after work. It's located in Clarence Square Park so it's in a bit of an isolated spot. Bar Eighteen30 is very coolly decorated with some cool IG-worthy designs, including a ball filled bathtub and blooming trees. It's definitely a unique environment.
We were iffy at first due to the reviews but Paul made sure to give us an amazing experience. Recommend the octopus and the penne penne could’ve been served warmer but the flavour was there. The lychee martini was good, if you’re feeling adventurous ask Paul for his drink specials we recommend the one with tequila that gets set on fire. We went on a day that wasn’t busy so can’t give a full review on what it’s like during a lively night. A little pricey for what you get but at the end of the day who cares how much you spend on a girls night. Stars goes to Paul for the overall experience.
I have been to Eighteen30 twice and had a great experience both times. They offer a variety of specialty cocktails and an extensive food menu. They have a really cool decor and there are a bunch of areas to take Instagram pics. I recommend checking it out!
