Fun, safe park for the kids. Nice playground and water feature. Most people keep thei...
I love this park. One of the best in the city on my opinion. Beautiful spot for a picnic or walk with dog or roller skating or anything. Great view of the lake. Safe. Well taken care of. Lots of ducks that you can feed but I'm not sure if you are supposed to. I don't remember seeing any signs posted. Just be sure to watch any kids around the water obviously!

Really relaxing and open place. Good place to bring the kids to play or just relax. It is right next to the lake so it has a very nice view that doesn't get old. There is also a smaller, clean beach right near the park for the warmer months. This is also an extremely popular place for when the fourth of July rolls around every year.

Hi! My name is Henry, I am a Louisiana Catahoula Leopard Dog. My best friend is my person Sue, and we love to walk at Eichelman Park! It is the perfect place to go! There's the beach- you can jump right in the water if you want to and swim! Sue likes to look for treasure in the sand. Side walks wind thru the park past swings and sandbox for kids. Past a cool look out place over the water. Past the big boats, a lovely garden area and much more. There's usually plenty of nice dogs and their people and kids to see! You will love it too! Bring some food and cook out!See you there! PS.. (Bring your dog)

My kids adore this park. They get to play in sand AND at the park, and if we get too hot we can walk down to the water installment further down the harbor.

It's one of my favorite places to go. It's where I've gone since I was a kid.
