Eggcellent P'Eats

Second time here and it did not disappoint! First time I had breakfast - peats loaded eggs, my partner had the breakfast burger, everything was excellent. Today we decided to try it again, I had the clubhouse and my partner had peats patty melt chefs favourite omg everything was so good! Artisanal breads, real turkey in my club house, thick butcher bacon, and that patty melt with grilled onions and cheese, upgraded to a poutine for a side and that was excellent too! The service is wonderful, they are fast to grab your order and get everything you need. We come from Sherwood park, there’s no place like this there. I could make this my Sunday thing, the name says it all it is excellent!

We came into Eggcellent Pete’s when the place was nearly empty on a Tuesday afternoon, yet it still took 35–45 minutes for our food to come out. I ordered the Reuben, which looked amazing on the menu—thick cut meat piled high. What I got? A sad, skimpy sandwich with barely a few slivers of meat. It looked *nothing* like the picture.nnWhen we politely pointed it out to our waitress, she was very kind and understanding. But then, out of nowhere, a rude girl from the kitchen stormed out to our table and basically told us, “That’s how we serve it, and have for 8 years. If you don’t like it, too bad.” Zero professionalism, zero care.nnEven the waitress was shocked and apologized, saying the kitchen staff had no right to speak to customers like that. She was so embarrassed by her colleague’s behavior she told us we didn’t have to pay and could just leave if we wanted to. I ended up not eating anything at all after waiting nearly an hour.nnI’ve never had a cook come out of the kitchen just to argue with a customer. Completely unacceptable behavior, misleading menu photos, slow service, and an overall horrible vibe. I’ll never be back.

Dont get the fruit platenIt only comes with strawberries, pineapple. A few Blueberries. Two orange slices, honeydew, watermelon, cantaloupe. No orange slices like there is in other pictures.nAlso the pineapple is sour and gross, the strawberries were mushy and still green the blueberries were just sour mush. And the orange slices felt like they were cut weeks ago everything else was good though, not worth buying

Food: Food was amazing. Tasty and had enough quantity.nn Price: very reasonable pricingnn Service: waiteress had a pleasant attitude. Good service.nn Atmosphere: Cozy place. Loved the old town restaurant vibe.nAn authentic Canadian restaurant nn Recommended.

Vancouver visitor. Loved this little vintage style charming eaterie in the original downtown part of Fort Saskatchewan. Great menu selection. I had the light order Monte Cristo and it was huge! Also had a delicious bowl of homemade Hawaii chicken. The service is friendly and non-rushed. Great menu selection. I would definitely eat here again on my next visit.
