I’ve only seen him once so far, but he was kind & knowledgable & got back to me with the results of every test on the same day I took it. He’s booked out for months, but I got an appt with his NP Katlyn Hansen in the mean time who was patient with explaining treatment options & and additional tests. I’m happy & feel good about the plan going forward.

Dr. Edison asked pertinent questions regarding my medical issues. He listened thoroughly and made modifications to medication I was already on. Upping the medication was very beneficial! The visit did seem to be very brief. I would have liked a bit more time with him. However all my questions were addressed. I simply felt I would have liked more time devoted to one of the concerns. He contacted me twice over two weeks to check how the medication increase was helping. I liked him. He was friendly and pleasant .

I had a terrible experience at my first appointment with Dr. Edison. He really pushed the biologic drugs and went on and on about how I was going to suffer over the next ten years if I didn’t do the medication he suggested. I felt like he was trying to scare me into believing that big medicine is my only option. He told me that my diet has little to do with my Crohn’s Disease symptoms !!! and took no interest in the fact that my symptoms have been improving on a mostly plant based/whole food diet. He told me that my immune system is attacking me or will in the future and there’s nothing I can do about it. He fumbled through my records, made no effort to really understand my medical history, and didn’t give any feedback on recent efforts to better my health through lifestyle. I will be looking for another doctor.

He's been my doctor for several years and was very swiftly able to identify my problem and issues and was able to do more than I ever thought was possible to help. Am forever grateful to of found him as my Dr, even when I was suffering and at my worst and wasn't respectful him and his staff have always been there for me. Thank you for all you do

I received the test results and to follow up in Jan. and that's it? Nothing to be done in the meantime? I'm to suffer. No nothing? Is that acceptable to leave me here with no answers and no idea where to go to find them? What if I was a relative? Wouldn't you do more. Wouldn't it upset you to see someone you care about so distraught? I CANNOT EAT! How does that not warrant a timely investigation and better care? I waited months to see Dr. E. My PCP referred me because he was confident Dr. E. would get me some answers, and would help me. I am so disappointed that this is the level of care given in our area, and in our ThedaCare system.

Doesn't return emergency calls nor does his nurse practitioner. Takes forever for an appointment.

bad doctor ,doesn't listen to your problems just hands you a foodmap diet and says that you will be fine ,no help at all .
