The Edison café has been in operation since the early 30’s. Before it was a café it was operated as a Texaco Station. Since that time many types of goods were provided here, directions to points beyond, penny candy, ammunition for hunters, tackle for fishermen, auto supplies, advice & eventually meals.
Serving the community has always been a goal of The Edison Café. So many people have frequented this place that it should really be called The People’s Café.
