Econo Lodge Inn & Suites

We Love this place. We stayed here on our move up to Alaska 5 yrs ago. We liked it so much on our move back down to the Lower 48 we chose to stay here again & it was just as good. The rooms our clean and modern & they have the most comfortable beds & pillows. The free continental breakfast is really nice too.

I would give a zero if possible. Beds are hard breakfast sucks front counter workers most are rude. Maid service was cool. Weird people hanging around the hotel. Ok so I work in the refineries so I can work days or nights. I'm working nights I have a night off go down to get a snack and they have the door locked. They say cause it will bother the room above it (update your 1980s washer and dryer just saying) so instead I'm an unsatisfied guest. My company put us in this hotel cause all the hotels closer to the refinery are booked due to the turn around. So I would never recommend any one to stay a night here.

The old lady manager that's always angry and unprofessional you're the reason I'm not ever going back. These people are like robots without personality character or empathy. Someone needs to let that terrible awful lady go. It doesn't cost anything to be kind I'm not sure what has made her so on and put that Akin angry in her life but she's in the wrong line of business. The hotel has been cleaned up real nice but it's not worth it she'll make your stay miserable and I believe it must be simply because she is a miserable person herself

We stayed 2 nights. We aren't too picky, just want a clean place to get a good nights sleep and go out and adventure during the day. I am giving 2 stars based on the lack of insulation making it so you can hear everything going on in the rooms around you. We were on the 2nd floor so we heard all the foot steps from the room above us, pretty sure we could hear them using the bathroom too. Also there is a casino next door, we were awoken both mornings at 5am by them dumping their bottles into the recycling bin outside. Breakfast was not very exciting either. Pancake machine, hard boiled eggs, toast, some form of sugary breads and a few choices of cereal. The price isn't bad but what we saved in money we paid for with a lack of sleep.

Great rate, great bed. We also used the laundry, fair pricing. Close to a mall/shopping center and other good selection of food nearby. Bus stop to/from Bellingham downtown just crossing the road, and it's just of the highway. South is Seattle, North is Vancouver, Canada.
