Much better than I expected before check in after reading those negative reviews . The receptionist or the manager maybe was really nice and generous. Wyndham Diamond member deserved benefits. Room was clean and tide which I believe was recently renovated. Highly recommend, rate is much more reasonable and affordable than peers in Vancouver BC. No shampoo, no hair conditioner. Breakfast was far more better than what I have paid for.
If I could give 0 stars I would. I travel 8 months out of the year for work and this is BY FAR the WORST “hotel” I have ever stayed in. Perfect place if you smoke meth or use other hard drugs, but for normal people this place is DISGUSTINGLY BAD. Was told by Anthony when I checked in that the room he was putting me in had been smoked in for quite some time by a previous long term resident but that they had fixed it up nicely. Yeah, right. Smelled HORRIBLY of cigarettes which I happen to be allergic to. The shower and tub are missing chunks out of the lining, mold all over the bathroom, blood and who knows what else staining the walls, hair on the sheets and towels, rust in the bathroom sink water. Had a kid bouncing a ball in the room above me and jumping around all hours of the night, kids running up and down the halls, yelling from different rooms, hallway smelled like urine. The place is absolutely disgusting and I wouldn’t return there during a nuclear fall out if it were the last safe shelter. My legs got eaten up by what I can only assume to be bed bugs or fleas in the room. I didn’t shower during the 2 day stay there because of how disgusting the bathroom was. I tried to stay out as long as possible during the day and only return to sleep, but don’t count on getting any sleep with noisy drug addicts and their kids & dogs staying there. If hot mess had a picture in the dictionary this would be it. I called the front desk twice only to once be unanswered and the second time be answered with no one on the other end. Waited 25 minutes at the front desk to speak to someone and nobody was there. This place needs to be shut down. Had I been able to get a refund, I would have. Don’t waste your time or money. This place is only fit for meth heads.
They gave us a crackhead room that did not lock, the toilet was pink, and seat white, chipped paint off walls, dirty showers, holes in wall, kicked in by police, glued door frame,and tub dirty. They gave us the room across 217 OMG NO Dove Body wash, no shampoo, no conditioner. We had to go exchange keys from the first room. We got in at 1:20am. Woke up next morning bit up itching and fighting whatever bugs from carpet jumping on me. Went to report it, and they gave me a spray bottle. These rooms are not cleaned. They did not have a kitchenette on our reservation. They played with the price, and the lady kept distracting me and telling me to book online at the same time. She kept saying that if we don't book online, she will give a better rate. So we tried that with her after 20 min and she couldn't do it? She didn't have that system? They don't use their website nor Wyndham. I'm never going there again. Horrible stay and breakfast.
Very friendly and helpful reception staff. Unfortunately the hotel is very loud. The doors are not really insulated and i was woken up at 7 am by the maids doing work in the hallways. I also realized that i have lost my earbuds. I forgot them on the nightstand. Obviously this is entirely my own fault - however i would expect that someone would give me a call to let me know that they have been forgotten/ found.
A dump. Just avoid.nnThis place is old and stinky. The rooms are not very well cleaned and smell bad. Seems like a joke that they would want to charge a cleaning fee if you smoke in their rooms when the rooms smell so bad I don’t even think you would be able to tell if someone smoked in them.nnThe front desk clerk was a nice guy and the foyer is clean and bright, but once you get past that it is just a nightmare of a place.
