ECDC - Eau Claire Downtown Coffee

Amazing coffee, amazing dessert, amazing people! My vanilla latte had actual vanilla bean in it! My husband loved his pour over. The German chocolate cake we had was so good - lots of different textures inside. And they have free WiFi! We'll definitely be back!

The funky hipster staff are friendly and churn out some of the best espresso drinks in town. Try the cafe miel! It's one of the best I have ever had. The macaroons are always fresh and a nice, melt in your mouth treat!

I really like the location and trendy style. It is a great addition to all the positive things happening downtown. They also have good coffee although very disappointed anyone would serve a Mocha without whip. He told me they don't even have whip. Sad! Some of us don't think a Mocha or a latte for that matter is complete without it! Food is good but pricey. I have met one young man who worked there who was very friendly, and I go there regularly for coffee meetings bc of location, but the rest make me feel like they're doing me a favor by waiting on me. Lots of potential ECDC, I'm just hoping you want to improve where you lack.

If you are looking for good customer service with a friendly atmosphere, do NOT go here. Every time I have gone here, the employees have been extremely rude, and even mocked me for mis-pronouncing a coffee drink. It is a shame, because this place has a nice atmosphere, but this is completely tarnished by the egotistical, rude employees who feel as though they are superior. I would recommend McDonalds over this place.

Very nice little shop. Super convenient if you are staying at the DoubleTree Hotel. Good coffee and some good assortment of food.
