Treated rudely and as if I was stupid.

I asked "How will the notice of assessment make a difference?", "IT WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE" was the barked reply from Sophia. Despite the fact I wasn't arguing but INQUIRING.
Snort of derision from assistant manager Jasmine when I said it was sad I could'nt get a decent loan despite my $35,000 income.
5pm on fri and IT SHOWED.
Not greeted kindly or at all really.
Told where to sit with a point of finger and no eye contact by Sophia who was busy cleaning a desk and made me wait an additional few minutes while she finished up until Jasmine basically TOLD her to come and deal with me.
Made an appointment for Friday at 5pm with Jasmine and got a call on Thursday from Sophia inquiring as to when I was going to come in for an appointment. They sit 6 feet apart. What are they talking about all day? How much they hate the customers?
No eye contact unless arguing with me
Not told i was only currently approved for 600, told 1800 at my last visit by Sophia, which of course she insisted she DID tell me. Of course she did not because I WOULD'NT HAVE DRIVEN 40 KM FOR A $600 LOAN!
Multiple phone calls and messages for a $600 loan?
Sat in uncomfortable silence for 5 minutes as Sophia pounded away at the keyboard until I BROUGHT UP my t4's that I was asked to bring BY HER, which Sophia pretty much instantly rejected
Sophia was very critical of me when she found out I only worked at my job 11 months and not a full year. She asked how long I had been there. I said just under one year. She wrote down a year and then gave me hell later for lying to her. UNBELIEVEABLE!
Told "WE DON'T MAKE THE DECISION" I told them I still understand that.
Told by Jasmine to come with old expired id (which was rejected) despite telling them I was happy to wait until i got new id (which I did).
Bottom line, Jasmine is certainly NOT doing her job as an assistant manager and instructing her workers to be polite to customers. (Most of whom are already uncomfortable having to apply for a high interest loan).
Sophia's piss poor attitude and slightly compromised understanding of English makes her a liability to Easy Financial as far as I'm concerned, She would be wise to adjust her attitude based on the fact she is speaking for the most part with people who understand and speak English better than her.
Basically from my POV it was a 15 minute assault of humiliation and derision, perpetrated by two grumpy a-holes.
Personally I think they were just pissed I make more money than them. I can't think of any other reason for their poor attitudes and lousy treatment of customers other then being late on friday. Jasmine, Sophia and Easy Financial are NOT the kind of people you want to deal with when trying to secure a loan. Try MOGO or WestRock Financial. All the process is done online and the employees aren't so rude.
