South end Barrie East Sides is better by a mile than the north end but only worth 2 stars. Inconsistent food quality and high prices for what they serve. Always had good service here though.

East Side Mario's is one of my favourite Italian chains, and this location did not disappoint. We were seated quickly despite the restaurant being extremely busy for New Year's Eve, and service was prompt. They accidentally messed up one of our party's order (one person asked for added chicken but it was accidentally added to another person's as well), and three servers came over to our table to apologize and reassure us that we wouldn't be charged for the extra chicken, which was really good. The staff are friendly and dedicated to making sure you have a great time :) I will be returning in the future for sure.

Went there on the Tuesday before Valentine's day with my significant other and wow was I impressed! Best service I have ever had the server was fast and polite, the food was perfect and to top it off they we pretty busy! I definitely recommend this location.

Decent food. It's not top of the line food but decent family restaurant. Great options for kids and adults. Staff is amazing and great with kids. Prices are ok. It's clean. When you're just too tired to cook, it's a great, affordable family restaurant. The manager is fantastic which shows in the staff with their great customer service.

Would be a 5 if: 
Service was better (waiters seem so apathetic!) 
They didn’t modify the red sauce (tastes different now) 
The didn’t change the cheese (why!! That soft parm was incredible) 
Salads were consistent (sometimes you get a proper garden salad with all toppings and other times only get iceberg lettuce- happened 2x, wish I was kidding)
