East Side Mario's

What can I say. We were in the area and decided to go to East Side Mario's. The thing we like about Mario's is that you get all you can eat bread, salad and soup with your food. I say be careful the bread warm with garlic butter is very good and the salad and soup will fill you up very tasty salad was fresh... you still get your entree . The entree was also very good. You can end up very full and satisfied. The staff were polite and our order came very fast.

This is a nice place for a family dinner. Prices are very reasonable. I love the warm bread that they bring to the table. The servings are quite large so you won't be leaving hungry. You can have an unlimeted salad or soup and I had the Italian Wedding which was really nice. My wife had pizza and I had a pasta which we both really enjoyed.

It's honestly been years since I came to the restaurant because I thought it was closed, however the experience is still the same as I remember. You still get "all you can eat" salad and bread. The meal came out fairly quickly, however it wasn't very hot, was more lukewarm. Plus the server and the manager kept coming around the table every 5-10 minutes asking if everything was okay. I get that if you've been there for an hour or more, you want to turn over the table but we literally just got there and felt basically rushed until the end of the meal. I like to come to restaurants for two reasons: 1. The food and 2. I can have a conversation with someone and enjoy the ambiance and atmosphere. Now with each entree being $22 a plate, you'll end up dropping around $60 for two entrees and soft drinks. It's probably pressure from corporate, so I don't envy the management for being between a rock and a hard place. We're all getting squeezed at work for more "together".

A night out for some delicous pasta is always a good night. I don't usually go to chain restaurants but I do enjoy change now and again. The atmosphere is a fun look at with the Italian culture showca sing around the place, ie the flags and the hanging vespa. The staff are friendly and patient but you have to be that in return. Our server forgot about us a couple of times even though it wasn't busy. I had to ask her for another water a couple of times. The food was delicious! I ordered the make your own pasta with spaghettini , arribiatta sauce, mushrooms and primavera vegetables. The only problem was they forgot my mushrooms. I told them this and asked the server to take it off my bill which she thankfully did. The food is flavorful and cooked to perfection. I love my pastas to be good and saucy. The salad had a good amount of dressing. And the dessert is perfect for my friend's birthday. It's delivery was with a song and its taste was satisfying to our sweet-tooths. All-in-all, this place isn't bad especially if you are hungry and budget-concious. The service was a little lacking but everybody makes mistakes. It also didn't help to have this stupid fruit fly bugging us. Never-the-less, I recommend this place to anyone who happens to be in the area. Bonne Apettito

The food was absolutely delicious and amazing. They have great food selection options. The service was great & quick. The staff were friendly and courteous. The restaurant has good ambiance.

This is the most amazing birthday friendly place. They all come out to sing and will give you a delicious free dessert. Children love the gelato tube ice cream. Its is always a big hit. Puts a smile on there faces every time.Food: 5/5

With one location, it was always too late to go because we live on the opposite side of the city. We lucked out when we found this location by chance. The weather outside was perfect! We had a small meal accompanied by cold drinks. They had a 2 for $10 special, so I decided to order both stone fruit and raspberry blush flavour drink to try them. Both had fruity, distinctively good taste. Our server was nice and sweet as well which sums up the whole experience. We’ll be back for sure! Across the way is a theatre so you can always finish your day with a movie if you're up for it.

My best friend and I went to East Side Mario’s for dinner and it was a fantastic experience. Carl, the waiter who served us gave the best service. The first bowl of Italian wedding soup that we both got were 90% broth and had minimal portioned meatballs and pasta. I am not kidding when I think the soup was skimmed from the top. I was bummed out because I remember they served better portions than that. I didn’t complain but Carl had decided to scoop the second bowl personally and it was just what I needed. I would’ve been turned off from visiting there again. My friend got a huge portion for her pasta and that was impressive. Thanks for being our waiter that day. Hands down you’re the best one!
