There's usually a line-up, but it's worth the wait—Earnest Ice Cream is, in my opinion, one of the best ice cream shops in Vancouver. They consistently offer a variety of unique flavors, and I've never been let down. You can sample different options before deciding, and they serve single or double scoops in a cup or cone, along with ice cream sandwiches, hot fudge sundaes with your choice of ice cream, vegan fudge, and pints to take home.nnMy personal favorite is their cookies and cream, a lighter take on an Oreo-inspired treat that never disappoints.nnPro tip: Save your Earnest Ice Cream pint jars and bring them back for $1 off your next purchase.
The best chocolate ice cream I’ve ever had! It was very rich and tasted like dark chocolate without the bitter aftertaste. My friend got the pumpkin spice latte which was delicious as well, but still easily beat by the chocolate. Service was fast and they cleared the line quickly. Highly recommend!

I’ve had earnest for quite a long time but it was only recent that I gave their ice cream sandwiches a try. For those who enjoyed those superstore ice cream sandwiches growing up, I’d say this style of sandwich is very similar to it. Of course the quality of it is far higher than what you’d buy at a superstore.nnThey have a nice variety of ice creams to try and they sell them by the pints as well.
I’ve been in Vancouver for over 5 months now, but this was my first time trying their ice cream. As a milk tea lover, I loved their London Fog flavor! It’s rich and so flavorful. I also liked the Cold Brew flavor, which is my friend’s one of go-to flavors. I will definitely come back and try other flavors. The price seems pretty reasonable too.
