Earls Kitchen + Bar

Driving through Penticton we decided to have lunch and really liked the restaurant. We got there during happy hour, the dishes were $5 off. We ordered ribs, salmon, a large burger and creme brulee with white chocolate. We really liked the fish as well as the dessert. The place is cozy, quiet and very nice to visit on a hot summer day.

Come here often to work but tonight for a steak birthday dinner. Did not disappoint! Great food, a lovely welcome card and complimentary dessert and Julia was so friendly and attentive.

I've avoided Earls for a long time after wasting my money years ago for subpar food. I decided to give them a go while in Penticton. The menu looked good Too tired to go out, so placed my order through uber eats. Truffle tortellini with added blackened chicken. Spicy California roll. It was BOGO so it came with 2 orders. During the order process I indicated I needed chopsticks and soy sauce. The order arrived with not even napkins. At a hotel. No cutlery, no sauce or napkins. Even though it was indicated.nnFor the food itself. The tortellini was okay. Just okay. The chicken was ice cold and very spicy. I've never ordered blackened chicken before so maybe it's supposed to have a strong pepper taste. The sushi? Gross, is putting it mildly. It was extremely fishy and just gross. Smaller than what I would get at a sushi restaurant. For $20 a roll? Just no! I've ordered rolls at other chains restaurants that were delicious. To put it mildly, this was a shared dinner for 2. $65 and we had leftovers. Not because we were full but because we just couldn't stomach anymore. Shout out to the hotel for keeping plastic cutlery behind the front desk for those that can't read instructions. Never again Earl!

nWe had an amazing experience at Earl’s in Penticton thanks to our server, Hayley! There were six of us, including three kids, and she took care of everyone so well. She was patient, friendly, and made sure the kids were just as looked after as the adults. Her timing was perfect, she checked in just the right amount, and gave great recommendations that made our meal even better. It’s clear she genuinely cares about her guests. Thanks, Hayley, for the top-notch service—you made our night!

The happy hour items we tried...dry ribs & the margherita pizza were so delicious. Our entrees were also awesome...Cajun Chicken & Alfredo and the dessert...a fantastic conclusion! Service was great! The only thing that was challenging to our experience was it was VERY hot in the restaurant even though the AC was turned up high.
