You can't go wrong with the Earls chain. Went to this one at Sherway Gardens. Ambiance: Open concept and modern with a open kitchen. Pretty casual but more upscale than a pub. Service: Service was a bit slow. Our server was no where to be found most of the time so I took one star off for the service. Food: Excellent selections from appetizers to main and desserts. Tuesdays is half price bottle of wine day and if you don't finish you can put a cork in it and take it home! I had the blackened chicken salad with peanut vinaigrette dressing it was flavourful and the chicken was moist. Calamari was nice and crispy! My friend had the salmon and he loved it. This is my 3rd Earls location. It's pretty consistent I'm always happy with the food here.
Had a great meal here. Our server was quick with the water and drinks and very personable. We stopped in for a light meal and were not disappointed. The food was excellent and the portions were perfect for what we wanted I am trying to keep to non-alcoholic beers these days but did not find a suitable one here. They had a good assortment of regular beers so I had no issues on this front. The mains here are normally awesome but we didn't bring the right appetites for them so we are looking forward to next time. Vegetarian options: They have a decent selection of vegetarian and faux meat options. We had the corn and avocado as well as a pizza so ended up accidently eating a vegetarian meal. Parking: Tons of free parking outside
Best of all Earls locations for sure! We didn’t know they had a happy hour then, but guess what! I would definitely recommend this location. Food is delicious, service is superior and staff are super friendly. A decent choice for couples and big groups for sure. I recommend do reserve your spot because its pretty packed! Happy hours menu was also surprisingly fair!
Fantastic food, fantastic decor, great service. We had been to another location of Earls in Alberta that we enjoyed and wanted to explore this place, quite close to where we live. This has become one of our saved spots if we are craving some delicious bites. The pasta and apps were absolutely brilliant. Everything was well-cooked and full of flavour. If you know me, I love sauces on the side so they brought their home-made hot sauce which went well with the apps. In addition, I am a big fan of their mayo that comes with the chicken karage. Service was great because you can reach out to any server and a few times the manager came over to help us out. Earls team - you have found a loyal customer in me. I am definitely coming back to try the ribs. Thank you for your hospitality.
We had a nice dinner at Earls Kitchen today. It was chef Ash who took care of our orders. He is an amazing person who explains all the dishes to you in a beautiful way. We took the dessert only hearing his narration about the same. Posting some food pictures from tonight’s dinner. Thanks much Ash for the great service. It was the first time we came there and we would look forward to having food from there again.
First time here with friends for dinner on a Friday. Was super easy to get into with a reservation, they have a beautiful atmosphere and friendly service. My friend got a cocktail but she wasn’t very impressed for $15.00. The food came out at a decent time, and everything was made well and fresh, but wasn’t mind blowing. Considering the price, there are better options nearby for tastier food within the same price range.
The food was delicious. We tried the spinach dip, oysters, jumbo crab cake, and the steak and frites. Also the PB & J cocktail is surprisingly good. Our server Kevin was on spot. Very friendly and interactive. Definitely recommend. We enjoyed our night.
Earls is a bit better than your standard 's restaurants in the area. The menu is broad enough to cater to a diverse group and there is ample indoor and outdoor seating. Nothing outstanding in terms of food or service, but will be a safe bet if you are looking for a crowd pleasing place to eat. The parking can be lacking and a challenge at peak times. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible
Ok, I was very thrilled to visit this place, since I remembered my old good days in Vancouver at Earls. Everything was good, until the hostess offered us to have dinner at the bar instead of waiting. Sure, I thought. What a mistake, no one paid attention to us, me and my partner were sitting at bar, glasses from the previous customers were staring at us. 10 minutes later, still the same. So we walked back to hostess, good for us she reacted and called for Manager. Manager took care of us, we got the table with great service. I would give all 5* if it wasn't for the luck of service at the bar. Maybe next time. Food was great, selection of drinks - rich
Visited Earls on a Saturday morning for brunch, we had reservations so we were seated right away. I didn’t realize it was happy hour so ended up getting a good deal on some drinks. I ordered the fettuccini Alfredo replaced the chicken with tofu which was filling but I felt the tofu was bit too oily. The staff was really friendly, service was fast. Atmosphere felt energetic. Price $$.
