My husband, son & brother came here for our Thanksgiving breakfast in advance on Sunday & we were greeted very pleasantly by our server, Thomas. All throughout the meal, he was super attentive to our needs, and provided lots of humor that added to the overall fun ambience. The meals more than met our expectations. The portions were beyond big. We will definitely be going back. If you do get an opportunity to visit this restaurant, please ask for Thomas. You will not be disappointed.
Absolutely perfect. Every single staff member has been so incredibly friendly and kind. A big thank you, to everyone who worked Sunday the 6th! You will be the reason I keep coming back! Despite being busy they’ve been so speedy and checked in with me often and chatted me up. I’m blown away. The food, well, the pictures speak for themselves. Absolute perfection on all of it, and at a very reasonable price! I can leave with my heart and stomach fuller.
Dundas Street Grille is your standard brunch spot, serving up your classics like pancakes, sausages, home fries, eggs and toast. Newer additions include french toast and avocado toast. There is ample seating space and even during peak hours the wait is never more than 10 minutes. Clean, efficient and reasonably priced, this is a good spot to grab a huge breakfast. The location has parking directly in front as well as overflow parking across the street by the Tim Hortons where you can park for an hour. Entrance is wheelchair accessible.
Their grilled cheese sandwich with bacon is one of the best grilled cheese I've had in my life!! It's got great texture, crispy bread with ooey gooey cheese, and their bacon is of excellent quality, I highly recommend adding it if you like bacon.
Great food and really fast service. Recommend for a good breakfast on the weekend or if you're around the area. We tried the Eggs Benedict, Spinach and Feta Omelette, Hot cakes with chocolate chips, and some french toast only item that tasted plain, needs more of a flavor. Good experience overall, the head waitress could be nicer to the other new or stressed out staff. Service staff make mistakes from time to time and that's okay; no need to be hard on them.
Every time I drop someone at Kipling station, I see this cool looking sign of this cool looking restaurant. Today was the day I actually went in. Menu was decent, more like a burger place, I ordered a steak and it was only 6oz I ordered 2 and wasn’t happy looking at the plate but no complains, as I said not a steak place. The one thing I must say about this place was that the service was top notch, really loved how I was greeted and treated. Will come back again but for breakfast or brunch.
Yes. Just a whole lot of YES. The Dundas Street Grille is the best breakfast place I have been to in years. The Belgian Waffles were absolutely amazing - fluffy inside, lightly crunchy outside. The omelet was superb, but those homepotatoes/homefries OMG. I could have eaten a plate of just those. Our waiter male with awesome tattoos - didn't catch his name - he deserves a raise had a great sense of humor and made our experience overall one of the best dining experiences we have had in a very long time. I cannot wait to return for another meal the next time I am in the city.
What amazing place ! The food was delicious but the most impressive was the staff !!! Just fabulous!!! Friendly, happy, good vibes, etc !! I can hear how they talk and addresses customers with their names or just making them including me welcome ! Bravo Gracias !!!
Feels the same as it did 15 yrs ago. For better or for worse. Prices were very reasonable. Pancakes surprised me, in a good way. Fluffy and light. Sausages were dry and bacon borderline too crispy.Food: 4/5
Service is great and the food is average , I like the atmosphere the most . The staff are friendly its just the menu is the the same as 99% of the breakfast restaurants in the GTA , I,d hope if there would be more choices out of the traditional options
