Super friendly pharmacy staff and they had my prescription filled prior to me arriving to pick it up. Fastest service I’ve ever received! The cashier at the front was also very nice. Walked around and bought a few items after grabbing my prescription. I live in Malakwa so this is my go-to spot :
I visited this I.D.A to buy shampoo and conditioner, and was looking at one bottle of shampoo, when some of the product squeezed out on to the lid. I brought it up to the front, with the rest of my purchases totaling over $80 worth. I explained that some product had come out and apologized, thinking the clerk would wipe it off and 'no big deal'. She proceeded to leave to speak with her colleague, and both women came to stand at the till to inform me that I must now purchase this $17.49 product. I was then watched to make sure that I did in fact, purchase the product. I have never been made to feel like a criminal at a pharmacy before. I will never go back to this location.
Unbelievable!!! I purchased Venus refillable razors the other day for my Venus Breeze razor. The package 'very' clearly states they will fit any Venus handle with exception of Simply Venus and Venus Pubic Hair and skin. Well, they didn't fit my Breeze. So, I thought no big deal and returned to this IDA for refund/exchange. I was told by the cashier I'd have to return to speak with the manager as she was sick that day. So I purchased another razor and blade set. Went back today and explained to the manager the above - only to be refused a refund and told to complain directly to Gillette and that the Breeze was obsolete which is not true as they're available on Amazon.nDumbfounded by this response I said she should remove them from the shelf as other customers are going to have the same problem as the the packaging was misleading. She didn't care. The whole time she was condescendingly calling me love and hon. Wow. Now I was angry.nThese razor refills are pretty pricy - $30 for pack of 4.nI've been a customer for 15 years, this was the first time returning something.nAfter the treatment I received today - I won't be back, and made that very clear. Will make the trip to Salmon Arm from now on, although I prefer to support local businesses.nDon't shop here!nThere's much better service, pricing and variety just down the road.
Jeff at the pharmacy is really helpful. He attentively listens to everyone and provide proper help.
Was in the lineup at the register and watched the clerk patiently explain everything to the senior lady in front of me and then come around the counter and help her put her gloves on. Very impressed! Everyone should treat our seniors like that. Jack Reid
