Love this place. This is my first choice any time I am making a major purchase in the Cine World. A level of service and care you just don't see elsewhere. Also.....zero arrogance. None of those sideways looks or smirks when you ask a newbie sounding question. Just an authentic willingness to help and educate. Best retailer in Ontario if you ask me.

Competitive pricing and friendly staff. It's nice to shop in a store that doesn't have salespeople following you around at every turn. I was able to browse at my leisure, get my questions answered and when I was ready to make my purchase, the salesman I worked with gave me his full attention. I'm not that experienced with photography but they seem to stock a nice selection of products and I saw some interesting gadgets I've never come across before. Another thing I really liked was the location of the store which is in a small strip mall with lots of free parking so you don't spend an hour going in circles trying to park your car like everywhere else in the city. I'd definitely shop there again.
Just went there for the first time today. Was recommended to check them out from a friend. Very polite and helpful staff. They had stock on a lens that I couldn't get at other stores and would otherwise have had to wait a month for. They let me reserve it for pick-up the same day, which I really appreciated. Would definitely check them out again for more filmmaking gear!
The DV Shop has been instrumental in the growth of my small production company. Without fail, the staff make the retail experience what it ought to be, and reaffirm my faith that everyone benefits when you support locally owned businesses.
