I visited DUTCH DREAMS last night, and while it was a generally enjoyable experience, there are a few points to consider.nThe ice cream was quite tasty, with a smooth texture and rich flavors, but I found the price to be on the higher side for what you get.nThe portion size and overall value didn’t quite match the cost.nnAdditionally, finding parking can be a bit challenging, especially during busy hours, which made the visit a little less convenient. The atmosphere in the shop is welcoming, but the staff weren’t particularly friendly or engaging, which affected the overall experience.nnWhile the quality of the ice cream is good, there are a few aspects that could be improved, especially considering the premium price.
The atmosphere of this place and general scenery is phenomenal. If you’ve ever seen Howl’s Moving Castle it’s giving that type of vibe, a very maximalist aesthetic. Ice cream was pretty standard, I would prefer if there was actually more cookie dough in it but overall it was good. There is quite a variety of different cones if that is something you’re interested in.
I came here on a Saturday night and ordered 3 different flavours of ice cream pistachio, espresso, and pralines and cream. I paid extra for a waffle cone that was dipped in chocolate and almond slices.nnCONS:n- I was served by 3 different employees. Only 1 of them was nice, the other 2 were rude and unfriendly.n- Both the pistachio and espresso flavours tasted horrible; I threw them into the garbage. Only the pralines and cream flavour tasted good.n- The waffle cone with chocolate and almond slices tasted strongly of artificial almond extract, which was unpleasant. It overpowered the other flavours of the cone.n- The prices were expensive for mediocre food and lower than average customer service.nnPROS:n- The interior decor of the shop is unique and fun to look at.n- Each ice cream comes with a dollop of whip cream, a few pieces of fruit, and a bit of cotton candy.
This Dutch ice cream store is a sweet delight, offering a fantastic variety of flavors paired with unique cotton candy and freshly made waffle cones. The combination of fluffy cotton candy, crunchy cones, and creamy ice cream is simply irresistible. With a charming ambiance, it’s a must-visit for dessert lovers. Highly recommended! They have a good variety of different flavors and as much as I tried it was delicious. If you order regular size they do half/half of two flavors.
Discover a one-of-a-kind ice cream shop where endless topping and creative combinations come together to create the ultimate dessert experience.nnThey top the ice cream with fruit, cotton candy and other goodies, which looks pretty but it’s also very heavy.nnThey do give you huge portions, which would be perfect for sharing, however we had no idea how big our ice creams would be and couldn’t finish them.nnListing the prices more clearly would be helpful.nIt was around $30.00 each for an ice cream cone.nAgain they are huge but no one really needs that much at once.
