Stopped for coffee and also bought two donuts. The coffee was fresh and the server added the proper amount of creamer. Very tasty bakery and was not stale and seemed like it was baked that morning. Great if you're in a hurry and can go through the drive up. Next time would like to try breakfast sandwiches.Food: 4/5
On 11/18/22 I received a cold "hot" coffee through the drive through. After the first sip, I went in to get a new one. I then got a warm coffee... The place was filled with kids eating chinese food and hanging out...Clearly friends of the people working behind the counter. The behind the counter help was marginal at best. Wouldn't stop here again.
Got grilled cheese not grilled at all! Out of bagel for bacon cheese bagel. They asked if a croissant was okay. Then they forgot to even put it in the bag! HAD to go back and ask for it. Another! Sausage cheese croissant had the paper in the sandwich! 4/25/21 @ 12:05
Okay so a few things: As some of these comments say, this location is always a hit or a miss, with product and staff attitude. Sometimes I’m being greeted by someone super helpful and happy and the next a staff member is rolling their eyes at me. I have received multiple drinks without coffee it’s very obvious or without oatmilk I have a dairy allergy and express that every time or even once my husband and my drink had the wrong labels put on them!! He had dairy in his too. Also to note NOT LACTOSE INTOLERANT. it’s an ALLERGY. When asked to put coffee in the latte and to switch the milk, we were argued with by young staff and got a ton of attitude from them. Also the wait time! I’ve been a barista before in this town in a very popular shop so I get it but also 10 minutes when I’m the ONLY customer on the premise?? They need training, work ethic and staffing. I try to be so nice but it’s insane how horrible the attitude can be from the younger workers. I do not choose to come here. Also to note - I’ve been to many different Dunkin’s and have almost never had issues like this. Clearly doing something wrong here.
People with dairy allergies, BEWARE! We have never had a good experience here. Multiple times, they have forgotten to put espresso in our lattes HOW DO YOU DO THAT AT A CAFE? and even worse when we ask for oat milk specifically for a dairy allergy they either forget to use oat milk or just put it in one of the lattes vs both like we had asked. Another scenario was when we had one latte with dairy and one with oat milk. The oat milk latte was a vanilla syrup and the dairy milk one was a caramel swirl which has dairy. The workers had put the oak milk with the caramel swirl and the dairy milk with the vanilla syrup, which now means both drinks have dairy. Constant screw ups like this are not okay and need to be addressed. Again, because of my wife's allergy, she needs to be dairy free so we do make this known upon ordering. We have gone back through the drive-thru to express our concern and we were told that was "not how we ordered it" and received eye rolls. Do you think that we would order incorrectly? We deal with this every day being out in public at restaurants and cafe's. These employee's NEED to be trained better and realize that food allergies are actually a serious request to their customers. We do not appreciate being scoffed at and eyes rolled at us just for having a special request. Please do better.
Waiting for 20 mins in the drive-through! Then probably another 5-10 mins waiting at the window. Our food was cold and one of the drinks were wrong. So I went inside to ask for a refund, and they’re response was “They don’t do refunds but we will remake the drink again.” I didn’t want that because we waited so long I just wanted to leave! I asked the man if I could speak to his manager and he said she isn’t on site. So then he calls her. She didn’t help at all. He gave me his OWN MONEY. I was grateful for that but the manager there should have given me my money back, not the employee. Very disappointing!
Not sure what is going on but they barely have donuts. They advertise on their menu donuts, but rarely have any available. They were also out of chocolate and white milk. If you are going to be a donut store the least you could do is sell donuts.
I always order Iced Carmel Macchiato from Dunkin in Waukesha, but when I go to the one in Oconomowoc, they never put enough coffee in it. There was only like one shot of espresso, and the rest was milk and Carmel. This place needs to be taught how to make coffee better.
The negative reviews are just the entitled members of the oconomowoc community who are demanding perfection from a group of teens serving them coffee. I saw a woman verbally assault one of the poor staff members about wait times on a refund for avocado toast. It was disgusting. Read the rest of the negative reviews through this lens. The location is a standard DD that gets busy and has a staff of teens, have a heart people. The drive thru wait times are so long because everyone is too lazy to actually get out of their car and WALK IN
Was happy to start going here but the service and coffee is a hit or miss based on who is working. I will never understand how something with specific instructions on how to make can be done so wrong. It tasted like black coffee and it was a caramel craze latte. Went back in and asked to have it made the way it is always made, she handed me a new one and asked how that one was, it was cold. Just freshly made but it was somehow cold and she then proceeded to argue and say this is exactly how we make it, there is no other way, but somehow I have always at least gotten hot lattes. She said she could do it one more time but I just said forget it and had it refunded through CS. Another time they gave me a small when i ordered large and he even saw the sticker said large. He took it back and just dumped the small into the large and filled it up with milk. I watched him do it and told him that isn't right and you can't just dump a small into a large and call it corrected. He also argued and said I fixed your order correctly and kept saying that. So needless to say that tasted like a tall glass of milk with a splash of coffee and had to be thrown out. I have had amazing lattes and service here but the times I don't is when certain people are working. So when I say it is hit or miss based on who is working, it is true. Will have to hoof it across town for starbucks in the future. Sucks because it is a really convenient location and good lattes when done the right way. I hope they can fix the little things to make this a better Dunkin because I would hate to see it get closed down like so many other places have in that location.
