Just grabbed a quick drink here. The bar is open seating so we sat down immediately which was great. There was a 40 minute wait for outside tables at 8:30pm on a Saturday, so pretty average I think. I got the Honey Nut Cheers golden ale. It was really good! And the staff is so quick and friendly. We didn’t get any food so I can’t speak to that, but I would definitely come back for drinks again.
Stopped during my recent trip to Chicago with my fiancee. It was delightful. The pizza and cheesy bread we had were delicious, and the beers and cider were awesome! We never had to wait long for anything though we were there at a less busy time, mid-afternoon and seating near the open front of the dining area made it feel like we were outside. Our waitress was Stella, and she was wonderful - friendly and efficient. If I'm ever back in Chicago, I will do my best to make it back here for the excellent food, drinks and atmosphere!
I have been here maybe a half dozen times in the past year, almost always just for beer. I think the beer is very good. My only small criticism is that I wish there was a larger selection, but they appear to make all of their beers right here, and given the constraints with limited urban space I have to give them credit for having as many choices as they do have. I'm very glad that we have a microbrewery right here in Lakeview.
Initially, we had nothing but good things to say. Our first server was amazing! I don't recall her name but she's tall, slim with black and blonde hair. Customer service was awesome. We had a beer flight, pizza and a burger. Food and pics were great and then there was a shift change. Our second server never came to introduce herself. We caught her in passing to order drinks as she was rushing outside to tend the customer with the dog. We waited as she brought the dog food, played with the dog and then started playing in her hair. I asked if she could bring us ice for the water but also if she could wash her hands first because I had a dog allergy and saw her playing with the dog and in her hair. She stared at us and said sure but she never came back to the table. We received the drinks from the bartender and she was a good time as well. We caught the second server in passing the second time she went to rush to the customer with the dog and we requested the bill. The server brought the bill and I requested a paper copy of the receipt. I never saw the server again. No receipt no nothing. I don't remember if she said thank you. This would have been an awesome experience but the server with the jean shorts and tan/ brown shirt was terrible. We will definitely be back because the burgers were amazing and almost all of the customer service was on point, but we will probably sit at the bar or request the initial server if she's avail next time.
Great spot! Gourmet pizza, Nashville hot sandwich and dry hop burger were awesome, we enjoyed our beers too. Love the vibe! We will be back
It is a wonderful place to have beer. These place has a lot of beer options and their fries and cheese breads are awesome. Highly recommended.
Popped in because my grandson loves pizza and we wanted a grown-up experience. The server even made my wife a delicious specialty cocktail.
The beer here was great, especially their flag ship shark and hipster wheat ipa. It was delicious, a perfect blend. Also the Mexican lager was excellent and smooth with a soft pallet taste.
Dry hop is one of the most lively place in Chi-town. Great ambiance, delicious food, friendly staff and excellent service. Beer collection is great and Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich is amazing.
Try the beer flight to see what you like and what you don’t like. I found two that I didn’t really care, and I know not to order those next time. Also fried chicken sanswich was delicious!
