This shop was clean and tidy. That's as far as the positives go. For when it mattered most, this was a totally disappointing experience. For the first time in a long long time, my friends and I felt less than welcome at shop like this. The two ladies behind the meat counter looked my friend up and down suspiciously when he went to place his order. When I went to the refrigerated section to look at ready-to-cook dishes, another lady approached the area and started "stocking" the full shelves. We were not dressed any shabbily than any other customers who were going to a picnic for a BBQ. Honestly don't know what they were worried about. That was just the service problems. We bought a chicken leg pre-marinated in balsamic vinaigrette, a pork chop in herb sauce and Berkshire pork sausages. After cooking the food, my friends and I were eager to try them out. The sausages were completely flavourless and the meat was very dry have never tasted sausages this terrible. Next was the pork chops in herb sauce. We saw the herbs used in the marinade, but the meat tasted flavourless, again! It tasted like they used a marinade without any salt in it. Who in the world marinates meat without salt??? Finally, we tried the chicken. Remember, it was marinated in the balsamic vinaigrette. What did it taste like? It was sour. You can imagine what sour meat tastes like if you've ever had spoiled meat before. If not, lucky you! That's 0/3 for a butcher shop that received such stellar reviews here on Google. Definitely will NOT be coming back to this shop. First, I don't like to be treated like a potential thief. Second, other butcher shops make way tastier marinades than this.
Wow. The best steak I’ve ever had honestly. First time coming here, the selection was phenomenal. They carry everything you need to prepare a proper steak dinner including sides. I took a cut of the Rib-eye, I’ll definitely be going back really soon to try out more cuts. All their steaks are dry aged a minimum of 60 days. Best butcher in the GTA!
Bought a rib eye and it was really tasty. Prices are what you would expect at a butcher for this quality. Meat in the counter all looked fresh and not discoloured like meat counters at supermarkets and other butchers. Their burgers are great too! I will support this local business again in the near future.
WOW!! This place rocks !! Best dry aged ribeye I’ve ever had in my life!! You definitely get what you pay for. You should check this place out if you get a chance :
The most amazing shop with a ton of variety - meats, cheeses, jams, etc. The staff are super friendly & professional. The food quality is top notch. I custom ordered a cheese board for my boyfriend’s coming home party & it was beautifully done. Highly recommend!!!
I love this place. Everytime I go I feel like a kid in a candy store. With some of the most delicious selection of meats and so many different accompaniments, it's a must for anyone and everyone!
Amazing quality meat and awesome service. Their selection of fine foods and meat are rare to find in GTA and Toronto. Besides the quality their price is fair and good as well. If you want to have quality steak dinner, Dry Aged have everything you need to prepare your meal.
This is one of my favourite butcher shops ! If you want a special dinner - this is a great place to find what you need. It’s very clean, the staff are friendly and the meat selection is A5 ;
LOVED the place, it's heaven. The meat is great. I liked both beef and Chicken, and with the beef I tried only Dry aged cuts. I got 3 different cuts in 3 different occasions, I tried the tenderloin, Ribeye & Strip-loin. I recommend them all. I tried the Deer chops, don't recommend it at all, very tough, I cooked the firs tone was the butcher recommended Medium rare and couldn't chew it. Then the 2nd one I didn't eat it straight off the grill it in, but instead, I heated it in the oven while covered in foil to keep the juices inside, and it was better, closer to medium well, but kinda tender. In the future I'll still to the beef. Lastly there was a a steak wine sauce, a little expensive, but amazing. Overall I'd say the place is pricy, so it's not a place you'd go to every week, but once a month you can treat yourself.
The best shop. Amazing people and the great products of meat. I suggest everybody to buy there!
