I ordered cheese burger with onion rings. The food was good and I didn't find the price outrageous as some of the other reviewers, but the service can be improved. For some odd reason, they have the sandwiches, burgers, and something else divided between servers, so people were constantly instructed to go to the appropriate area. This resulted in an awkward lineup between the different orders and people waiting for their food. It's sort of like how food is served in IKEA, just not as smooth.. Other than that, the seating area was spacious and clean. Can't really complain considering I was looking for something close after visiting the museum.
Absolutely overpriced and total lack of care being put into the food. This place has potential and needs to be higher quality food for the prices charged. Please don't eat food here. You're better off getting some baked good upstairs or going across the street to McDonalds or something. Put a damped on my trip to the ROM and management needs to step up their game and PLEASE. Fix this before you get people sick.
The obscene lack of consideration for food safety, allergens and cross contamination is terrifying. As someone with serious allergies, it makes me scared for the people who need to eat here. To see the food be dropped in a dairy and egg filled sauce, and thrown back on a sandwich, without considering that I'm allergic to all, is completely uncool, and dangerous.
I was at the ROM with the family. We stopped at the cafe for a break. We found that the cold drinks were overly priced. Additionally, the tables were not clean. The good thing was that tables and chairs were well spaced and complied with the 2 meter distancing rule.
Perfectly fine. The roast beef quesadilla was big enough for two adults to split so good value there, and it was great. Service was slow but staff was very polite and nice
Food was passable except for the GREY hotdog. They refused to give me my money back. Would not ever eat there again. There's a MacDonald's across the street. Food is much better there.
Large space with various hot and cold available foods and snacks. Coffee and soft drinks. Messy, noisy. Ok for a break.
Gave me food posioning would put 0 stars very expensive 1 cashier the poutine is bitter you need to remind them of your order horrible experience
Sad selection of bland food, difficult communication with workers. Only plus is it's clean and ample seating. Go out of the museum to grab lunch!!
Staff were polite but honestly the worst food I've ever eaten in my life. Prices were absolutely ridiculous! If I could give 0 stars I would. Definitely recommend you eat before going into the ROM. A gas station hot dog would have been better.
