She was a great doctor while we were going there but didn't like my decision to be on a different vaccine schedule and after my youngest son was born, we went in for a routine checkup and he was very sleepy and didnt want to wake up. Since we didn't get the vitamin K shot, she said we had to get him checked for a brain bleed which we complied with but then they sent a urine sample to get cultured when it wasn't a clean catch and it came back positive. We had to take him back to the hospital and he ended up undergoing IV antibiotics and a bunch of testing only to find out it was a lab error. At his next appt with Dr Krimm, i took his blood test results to ask about them because they looked goofy. She said it was most likely a lab error but we should retest him once we moved back to washington the following week. She called back later and told us he needed tested before getting on an airplane. We didn't want him going through anymore trauma so we decided against getting him tested before leaving the state. As soon as we got back to washington i called DR Krimms office to let them know we made it to Washington and asked if they wanted records sent over once we got the test done. I got a call from CPS the next day because Dr Krimm had reported me. We had the bloid test done right away and it was indeed a lab error and my baby was fine. He is now a healthy 3 year old. She had no reason to believe our son was in any danger. It was very stressful and i can never trust this doctor again. I would like to but i cannot in good conscience recommend taking your child to her.
Can't believe I haven't given Dr. Krimm and her staff a 5-star review yet! The girls have been seeing Dr. Krimm since we moved from Anchorage in 2012. She was recommended by our pediatrician in town who we loved and were sorry to leave. But the recommendation was spot on! Dr. Krimm's practice is common sense and warm. She connects well with the girls and with mom and dad. She has always taken the time to explain any questions we had. I know the girls trust her as well. Her staff is also very helpful and knowledgeable. Great pediatric practice!
Always takes the time to get to know your child. We all just love Dr. Krimm and the entire staff. Very responsive and on top of what is needed to be done for preventative care.
We needed a 2nd opinion beyond our poor experience with a different provider here in Wasilla. We’re so thankful she’s here, professional, knowledgable, NO long waits, kids friendly office... great staff.
