Absolutely unprofessional! I went in about my flat feet and the pain it’s been causing me. She decided to badger me about my weight instead (no they don’t go hand in hand my feet have been flat since forever) I told her I was severely depressed for 5 years and was on week 2 of exercising at the Gym. Told her I’m doing 1 - 3 miles a day on the treadmill. Which is a lot for someone overweight and just getting out of Depression. I was actually VERY proud of myself for finding the motivation and getting out of the house everyday. Well she proceeded to tell me I’m not serious about losing weight because (A. I need to do more and that what I was doing is only a “warm up” (B. I don’t have a dietitian. And (C. I don’t have a personal trainer. I told her I can’t afford another $100 bill each month and she told me there’s ways to do it. The lack of faith she had in me was not something you’d expect from a doctor. Especially seeing I was only 2 weeks in. All the badgering and negativity made me cry and she had the audacity to compare it to me “scolding” my child by saying “you scold your child right ? Doesn’t mean you don’t care about him” I was expecting more of a positive response to me finally changing my lifestyle but ended up getting the exact opposite. I had SEVERAL people tell me to drop her and that’s exactly what I did
