Horrible. First he put me on an antidepressant and scheduled me to come back 3 weeks later. Went in 3 weeks later and he asked if I was feeling better, I said a little bit but still have a ways to go... His words were well "you're not feeling better because of the medicine it wont start working for 5 weeks".... So why schedule an appointment after 3 weeks? Money hungry? I still gave them a chance and went in a few more times. Well I had an appointment yesterday but got stuck at work.... I called and canceled a half hour before my appointment and was informed I would be charged $100 cancelation fee. I explained my situation and I was told I would have to schedule an appointment to "maybe" get half of that charge removed. So I have to pay a $400 office visit to maybe cut a cancelation charge in half.... That broke the straw for me. He don't care about his patients I can promise you that! You can find A LOT better.

This doctor put me on a medication called Effexor after I advised him I didn't want to be on it because of the side effects and withdrawal effects. However, I did as he advised and went a long with the prescription. My insurance however only allows two 30 day supplies and there after must be filled with 90 day prescriptions. This S.O.B would not approve the 90 day prescription and made me abruptly stop taking this medicine. It has been 5 days since I have not had this medicine and I have a "head rush" that does not go away, severe migraines, very sensitive to light or noise, severe memory loss, unable to focus, vomiting, diarrhea, and have missed 2 days of work and counting due to these withdrawal effects. Today I made an appointment with my regular healthcare doctor who called me in the 90 day supply so I can remove myself from this drug the RIGHT way and hopefully start feeling better. With that said this guy should not be allowed to write prescriptions and play games with peoples health, and I will be fighting to revoke his license. My primary doctor was also very upset for the fact that I was prescribed this medication having high blood pressure as Dr. Shah was aware of this. I was also shown by my primary care physician that you are not supposed to abruptly stop this medication but it is even worse to abruptly stop taking this medication WITH high blood pressure as withdrawal effects are twice as bad. At my visit today my blood pressure was 137/110 due to withdrawal effects. I am currently putting together a legal team to get pain and suffering, time off of work compensation, and most importantly remove this so called doctor from this field so NO ONE has to go through what I am going through. Please read comments and do not say to yourself "this won't happen to me" because it will.

This "so called" doctor plays mind games with his patients. Doesn't listen and doesn't care. His staff is rude and inconsiderate. There should be a rating less then one star, he is not worthy of 1 star in my opinion.

So far, so good! Been very helpful and other doctors weren't. Definitely recommend!
