Dr. Russell E. Boyce

My journey with Dr Boyce and his beautiful staff are hard working extremely professional and just truly genuine people all around ,they have nothing but compassion and honesty is to say the least! l travel a long distance to go there and l don't regret it for a single .second it was the best thing l ever did. There are no words that l can say to thank them enough for all they have done for me. Thanks again Dr. Boyce

I can't believe how disappointed I am with the front office staff. I called Thursday afternoon to cancel a Tuesday morning appointment and was told that, since they don't work Thursdays or Fridays, this didn't count as 2 business days' notice. This is not anywhere on their website. I explained I needed to cancel to finally restart full-time hours that I had lost because of COVID, that I only just got notice of it, and needed the money since I'd been barely employed since March. She said that it would be my choice if I decided to work or skip work, but that she wasn't officially working so she would tell me if there would be a cancellation fee on Tuesday so I couldn't factor that into my decision. I get that last-minute cancellations hurt businesses, but this is over 4 days' notice, and I was really made to feel like it was my fault that I didn't know they were closed Thursdays and Fridays and that I was causing them inconvenience. She did say that she was "glad she answered the phone even though she didn't have to on Thursday" because it would have been "awful" for them to come in on Tuesday morning and find out then that I wasn't coming. Absolutely no acknowledgment of how awful this might be for me as the patient who has to choose whether or not to work , just, "well, maybe you will get a fee and maybe not and we don't know when we can see you again but since this isn't an office day I won't tell you." I'm sure the care is fine if everything is smooth, but there is clearly priority given to office policy over really caring about patient needs.
