Dr. Miguel Pereira

Dr Pereira has been my family doctor now for about 20 years. He is a highly intelligent and intuitive health care professional that sets the standard when it comes to patient care. I have had more appointments than I can count with him over the last few years and I can confidently state that he is solely responsible for the strides I've made in improving my overall health. Thank you good sir, your efforts are greatly appreciated and have not gone unnoticed.

Dr. Pereira is a great doctor who has served my family and I well over the last 12 years. He was particularly caring and helpful to me and my wife while she was dying of cancer. If he were still taking new patients, I would recommend him highly.

Dr Pereira is incredibly talented and patient. Has a very calming bedside manner. Very respectful. He has been our family doctor for over ten years and has always surpassed any expectations we have had. Highly recommend him if you're in need of a great doctor and he's accepting new patients.

Dr. Pereira is the best doctor I’ve had. It might take a while to get into my appointments, but I know it’s because he truly cares about his patients and takes all the necessary time needed to help everyone that comes in the see him.

My family doctor, hadn't gone in for a number of years due to overall good health. Few things had come up during the pandemicnon urgent and went to book an appointment to go in for a check up and to speak with him only to find out my file had been cancelled. Receptionist who was very nice stated she would have to speak with him to see if he would still take me on as a patient, next day after follow up was advised that due to taking on too many new patients he was unable to handle my care. Very dissatisfied, very tough to find a family doctor in Nanaimo and to be dropped without a call was incredibly disappointing. Would not recommend, never on time for appointments, even over the phonefamily member is still a patient here having to wait 2+ hours. #closetoretirement&countingdowntheclock

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Pereira. Very supportive and calming. Always willing to ensure you get what you need to get healthy without any judgements.
