Story

Dr. Michael Bernard has practiced in Beaumont, Alberta since August of 2001, heading a team with deep roots in the community.

Dr. Bernard studied at the University of Alberta where he received a Bachelor of Science degree and later his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.

On graduation he received the Community Dentistry and Dental Public Health Award from The American Association of Public Health Dentistry.

He maintains memberships in the Edmonton and District Dental Society, the Alberta Dental Association and College, and the Canadian Dental Association.

He continues to participate regularly in dental courses covering a wide range of subjects.

Dr. Bernard and his team of Registered Dental Hygenists and Assistants look forward to welcoming you as a patient or seeing you again for your regular check-up.

I visited Beaumont Dental Care for a long over due check up and cleaning yesterday. The experience was one of the best that I have experienced in a dental office. All of the staff were phenomenal! The front office staff, the hygienist, and Dr. Bernard were all very professional. I would high recommend this dental office and will be back for regular cleanings and check ups.

Today i have an appointment at 10.30am. I already there at 10.30am and receptionist said dentist bernard will be with me shortly, he still with another patient. Im waiting and waiting untill 11.30am (1 hour waiting). And start ask her when he will take me. At 11.35am she said dentist bernard cannot take me today and ask me to come back next week after new year ( because today is a last day for them ).
And the thing make me more upset, she take another patient who came at 11.30am.
After i waiting more than 1 hour, she just tell me to go home without say sorry or something like that ? Even dentist bernard not come to see me or say hello and explain that why he cannot take me today. 
I wasted my time and wasted my dental benefit for this year. Really not happy with that.

We were evacuated from the Fort McMurray forest fires when I started to experience some discomfort in one of my teeth. I called Dr Bernard's office and they got me in short notice for a diagnostic when I got some bad news : root canal. He and his staff worked hard on our behalf to try and fit me into their busy schedule or find another dentist to do the work. Very professional, would make them my regular dentist if I lived in the Beaumont area.

Excellent dentist. Keeps current  and up-to-date with advances in dentistry. Staff are pleasant and accommodating. Highly recommend Dr. Michael Bernard.
