Canceled on for a 2nd time now.... going to a new surgeon, with the hopes of some actual service... After booking an appointment 5 months ago, my son's appointment was canceled one hour before he was supposed to be there! I was told I had to take 2 days off of work & my son had to take 5 days off of work.... all of this without pay. This isn't just an inconvenience.... it's a significant loss of pay and I'm not happy with his service at all. Very unprofessional to cancel one hour before the appointment. Will never recommend Dr. MacLellan to anyone.
My daughter's orthodontist had referred us to Dr. MacLellan to have 2 teeth removed so that we are able to put her braces on her bottom teeth sometime early 2022. It took a very, very long time for Dr. MacLellan's office to get back to us. Finally, we were scheduled for a consult in September which consisted of nothing but asking if we required nitrous, full sedation or local anaesthetic $80 charge, to sit in a room and look at old x-rays. We determined that nitrous would likely be the best option. The receptionist advised us that the earliest appointment they had was in November. We took the appointment and rescheduled my daughter's braces appointment accordingly. Appointment date rolls around, and I receive a phonecall not even an hour prior stating the doctor is out sick with a cold and rescheduling for the following day. No problem. The following day, I received a phonecall again an hour before her appointment advising us that the doctor was still sick and we will reschedule to Friday. Today, I received another phonecall advising that he is still out, no rescheduled date. I understand that the dentist can and will get sick, and he is entitled to days off - however it appears from the recent reviews that this is a reoccurring issue. An alternative plan for such situations should definately be in the cards. At this point, the length of time my daughter will be in braces has been impacted severely with no end in sight.
Dr MacLellan is a absolutely phenomenal oral surgeon. I could not of asked for a more highly skilled professional Doctor to do my dental surgery. No chatter no nonsense .He gets in there and gets the job down. 900% in my books!
The receptionist has zero customer service skills and is ultimately a reflection of the business. Treating clients like garbage isn’t a good look and I’d certainly advise the business owner to pay careful attention to this issue.
Everyone had this dental office was very friendly. The nurses and dental assistants worked very hard to ensure that my daughter was comfortable leading up to her procedure and afterwards. Doctor MacLellan took extra time to answer questions to ensure that we were aware of everything we needed to know about the procedure itself and after care. It was my daughter’s first time having sedation for oral surgery and I felt like she was in very good hands. I cannot say enough positive things about our experience! Thanks to everyone!
From the initial consultation to the day of my wisdom teeth extraction I felt comfortable and trusted the professionals and the process. They answered all of my questions and dealt with my anxiety & stress. Thanks to all the staff for making this a positive experience. Highly recommend!
4th cancelation in a row last minute, booked again in August. Waiting for 9 months for a tooth extraction. Huge hassle to be a client, ie. Taking off work, finding childcare and making other arrangements etc all for nothing. Don't waste your time going. With Maclellan's customer service, he won't be in business much longer anyways. I fell bad for his secretary. Will be going elsewhere
My son was referred to Dr maclellan and they have cancelled his appointment at least 4 or 5 times. I have since changed to another oral surgeon and really do not recommend anyone go to Dr maclellan unless you continuelisy want to have your appointment cancelled within hours of the time you're to be there. So far I lost 3 days pay for taking the time off to take my son to see him only to be told oh sorry.... check your options first before being referred.
My son had a tooth extraction this morning. Staff were very friendly and everything went exactly as planned! It was a very good experience! They were wonderful! Thank you for such great care!
I had an extraction today. It was less eventful and less anxiety for me then I've had during appointments for just fillings. Dr MacLellan was very fast removing the tooth. I will definitely be going back to his office if I require a surgeon again.
