Dr M Estilo Pain Management,Llc

I have worked in retail pharmacy for 10 years. I have seen sooooooo many of her patients that have become addicts that brought in heavy duty, High quantity prescriptions for narcotics. I am now disabled and have been for a year. I have several medical conditions that have now made it hard to walk, breathe, eat, etc. and all of these conditions cause pain. I was told even by my Northwestern doctor to see a pin management specialist until we can get some more tests run to then go ahead and treat the illnesses I have. So I go to Dr Estilo yesterday and she completely dismissed me as have other doctors. She said the only thing she could offer me was physical therapy. I tried explaining to the doctor that I couldn’t stand more than 10 minutes at a time and if my heart rate goes above 100 I pass out. She said well I’m not giving you a pain medication because it can make your condition worse. Okay. I understand we are in an opioid crisis. I really do. But for someone who literally had to be taken by ambulance because my body was mimicking stroke symptoms and it turned out my body just couldn’t handle the amount of pain I was in, I think I don’t qualify as someone who is a drug seeker. My primary who has since left the practice even knew I was not that type of person and gave me Percocet to get through until I saw her. She told me no. I said ma’am, this medication gave me some sort of quality of life back. I was more “regular” than ever, having struggled with IBS. My condition paralyzes my stomach and she said it possibly can slow it down more. I told her I never ate better when I was on the medication. Waiting 3 months to get in just to be told a big fat nope was absolutely ridiculous. I do not recommend this doctor.

She do not listen to the patience and she do not want to read Patience's medical records, she said it take to much time to read the medical records. I asked her how can you help me,if you don't know my medical problems. All this was done to me. Do not go to this doctor, she's horrible and lazy. That's why she taking on new patients, because she can't keep her current patients.

Dr Estilo is an amazing doctor. She listens and does so ask many questions every time. She has been there for me at time of need, even if it is to talk and understand truly why pain is/has consumed my life. Great doctor.

I have seen her personally and sent family members to see her for years. She is very skillful,thorough and cares about her patients. I have the up most confidence in her and her recommendations.

She was nice at first then got me hooked on pain medication and then abruptly stop it. I told her I was having withdrawals from not talking my lyrica and she told me and I quote "I don't care that's your problem ".

Dr Estilo knows nothing about chronic pain. I have been a RN for 30 years and am much more knowledgeable about it. I live with it 24/7 and keep updated on new drugs/treatment plans. She didn't ask me anything about my pain. Don't waste your time.

I’ve seen her 2 times she didn’t ask me any questions about my pain or how I was doing with the meds I was prescribed before seeing her she just looked at the list of meds and decided it was to much despite the fact that I had told her my leg which I’ve had 3 amputations and a rod pulled from inside my thigh with a slide hammer constantly hurts and I was getting less than 4 hours sleep a night. In my opinion she should not be able to see patients. And the picture of the brown building is the restaurant Brite Spot a couple doors down the street.

This was one of my most awful experiences. I went to this woman for some back pain. Due to stomach issues I was put on fentenyl patches. They did not help and she would only offer to increase my doses. The increases were done very quickly until I was on high doses and she had me changing a 3 day patch daily and I ended up in full withdrawls while on the patch. I begged this lady to help get me off the medication and she refused and would only increase the dose. I had to result to going to Choices for help with the horrible withdrawls. I know of many others she has done this to. She will only increase doses and not help you get off the meds if needed. Resulting in addictions. So if you want to ruin your life by all means go see this doc. Cant believe she is still allowed to practice.

Wish I could give a negative 10 for a rating. This "doctor" has an absolutely horrible bedside manner. She is rude and does not listen. I also witnessed her treating her employees in a disgusting manner and after speaking to one of her employees confidentiality they said the doctor is horrible to them employees. The last person you want to see when you're in pain is Dr. Estilo. Absolutely horrible!

Never had a solution to your condition. Is rude and abrupt when discussing a solution. Very limited in her knowledge of pain management treatments
