Dr. John A. Hlaudy, DMD

I had an appointment in March. They told me that the x-rays from my dentist wen’t the ones that the doctor likes and I had to take one there. I asked about a charge for it and the nurse said that it should be covered. It wasn’t. I paid over $300 for the consult and x-ray. Then I found out the insurance would not pay until November and to call them and schedule the surgery. I called in November 4 times over 2 weeks and never got a return call. Finally had my dentist office call for me and they called me back. They said I needed a re-consult a week before the procedure was scheduled and was told there would be no cost. When I arrived for the appt. the receptionist didn’t know if there would be a charge until after the doctor saw me. I refused to be seen until I knew how much they would charge. After waiting 30 min, they said they would have to start from scratch again and charge the $75 consult fee and take another x-ray which they said the insurance might cover. Before the appt. I requested to know how much the procedure would cost and that I wanted to know when I had this consult. They hadn’t asked my insurance company and couldn’t tell me how much the procedure would even cost. Terrible service and never got to talk to the doctor or manager about any of it. I can’t speak to the skill of the Doctor but he has staff that isn’t reliable or honest. I wouldn’t trust any of my family to see any medical provider that isn’t reliable.

Dr. Hlaudy is literally the best oral surgeon I have ever turned to and, in my experience, seems to charge surprisingly reasonably. The first procedure I had performed here years ago, an impacted tooth extraction, was bizarrely painless... even after the sedative had worn off. I never felt a thing. The second procedure, wisdom teeth extraction, was more or less similar--relatively speaking to the severity of procedure. Pain was minimal, swelling never occurred, and I was eating normally in a matter of days. Over all, a pleasant experience--or about as pleasant as such a thing can be. I always recommend this office to my friends in need.

My appointment was at 8 am. Got here at 745. Got in the door and 4 other people came in behind me. The women calls me up and says you appointment is at 9 am when it Cleary said 8 am on the paper they gave me. The one family's appointment was the next day not the day of my appointment. Well needless to say they went before me as well as the other 3. Never again will I come here unless they get a new receptionist. Horrible experience so far.

Dr Hlaudy and his staff were wonderful. Dr Hlaudy does wonderful work. My dental extraction was quick and pain free.

I had all four of my wisdom teeth taken out at once. It was something I was avoiding for a very long time because many of my childhood friends had experienced extreme pain and swelling from their oral surgeons throughout the years. Dr. Hlaudy and his staff were incredibly kind and helpful throughout the entire process. I had very minimal swelling and my pain management was fine.
