If I could leave a negative star I would. My first sign to run as fast as I could from this doctor….should have been her assessment of my newborn baby in the hospital. It took all of about 15 seconds. However, I gave her the benefit of the doubt and I figured she had been doing this for years… The lack of preparation prior to seeing my daughter during her appointments was unfathomable. Calling her the wrong name multiple times, saying she had diagnosis’s she didn’t have talking about other patients, thinking she was a different age. Weird. I work in the medical field it takes 5 maybe 10 minutes to skim over a patients chart. I remember having to recorrect her MULTIPLE TIMES. Granted I gave her the benefit of the doubt. She’s overwhelmed… she has so many patients… no one can r remember everything. Also saying things like I think she will be one of my Asthma babies. You can’t really diagnose a child under 1 with asthma. Also I feel bad for your current Asthma babies because if you are medically treating them like you “medically treated” my daughter they are probably only getting worse. Lastly since she was 2 months old I said she was aspirating. After feeds she would sound congested and was coughing. Her first thought was we were “over feeding her”… WRONG. I thought her oh she’s a PEDIATRIC DOCTOR and has been for 10 plus years… she should know right? MULTIPLE times I asked“is she aspirating”, “could she be aspirating”, “are you sure she’s not aspirating”. Well guess what folks she had been aspirating the whole time! It took me switching to a RESIDENTS office for something to be done and a referral to be made. Now my daughter is currently in the PICU on NIPPV with a presedex drip to sedate her and hasn’t eaten in 3 days. Fighting for her life at 7 months old. The PICU doctor explained that she had probably been micro aspirating the entire time. Since her lungs have been so inflamed from aspirating this causes her respiratory illnesses to be 10 times worse than a normal child’s. Now she’s currently fighting off a virus of some sort. She’s also on antibiotics for aspiration. The fact that a PEDIATRIC FAMILY PRACTICE DOCTOR. Did not know that at two months old a babies feeding goes from involuntary to voluntary so this would be the time they would start aspirating is just beyond me. You call yourself a doctor? Or the fact that she just did not put two and two together that hey… this baby is sounding congested after eating….she probably is ASPIRATING. I know she’s not God but at this point I wouldn’t even feel comfortable letting her check my daughters temperature if needed. I wouldn’t walk.. I would RUN AWAY FROM THJS OFFICE. With all that being said. PLEASE don’t bring your child here.
Dr. Hubbard is phenomenal! A rare gem in the medical field! She is patient, thorough, and communicates clearly and respectfully in a way that is easy to understand. You can tell that she genuinely cares about her patients and cares about my kids just as much as I do! Thank you Dr. Hubbard for being a Pediatrician that I can count on! I would absolutely recommend you to anyone looking for a great Ped!
My daughter started seeing Dr.Hubbard in 2016 through October 2020 while I feel the visits with my daughter provide the necessary medical care while being seen, She will make you schedule several appointments for each concern and every other month follow ups for A.D.D. This allows them to Bill your insurance more for each visit. Having 5 kids seeing physicians this one was the most complicated to coordinate care for.
I highly recommend Dr. Hubbard for anyone searching for high quality, professional care for their children. My kids love her! She’s always quick to respond when questions arise, and is clear and precise in her communications.
Her communication skills need to be improved. She was very rude when I called the on call pediatrician line about my son’s fever. I tried to explain the steps we had already taken. She cut me off and ask did I call with a question.
Doesn’t rush appointment. Answers questions so we understand. Follows up and returns calls. Super sweet our little ones love her! Recommend
I love her my son is almost a year and a half and we both think she is amazing.
She is wonderful with our children and has a great bed aide manner.
