Dr Cohn great, Rachael great, other office staff person who answers the phone has the personality of a blank wall! and I'm being nice. are some of the most unprofessional and rude people I have ever encountered at a doctors office!
Dr Cohn took wonderful care of both my elderly parents. Now he's my provider. Helped me when Covid hit on the weekend. Immediate phone care and Rx.... Knowledgeable and friendly. Great staff and office...
I have been a patient of Dr. Cohn's for several years and am quite satisfied with the care I've received. He is always courteous, friendly, and takes time to answer all of my questions, treating me as an intelligent partner in my own healthcare. When I moved into the area, bringing with me the records from my previous doctor, the first person I saw started from scratch, insisting that I have every test in the books. She then said I needed to go on cholesterol medication since my numbers were borderline. When I pointed out that my numbers had not changed in years she said, that the recommendations had changed. When asked who changed the recommendations she admitted it was the drug company. When I questioned Doctor Cohn about one test that he had not ordered for me he said, "I'll order it if you want, but I don't see any symptoms that suggest you have a problem." I do have a couple of conditions that may potentially cause acute illness, but he has told me what to watch for and to seek immediate care if such symptoms should develop. Meanwhile, "Eat well, exercise, don't stress and call me if you need me." I appreciate his attitude and feel cared for.
I really could not be much more disappointed in Dr. Cohn. While my first appointment went fine my following appointments were almost worthless and very frustrating. I came to Dr. Cohn newly pregnant at an advanced maternal age and was accepted as his patient. At subsequent appointments he refused me treatment on multiple pressing subjects including prenatal bloodwork and pertinent internal imaging despite my requests. He also declined to refer me to a local OB that would perform these tests saying it was easier for him if I just found one. Upon requesting my records I found that he failed to even note the vast majority of my issues in my chart probably because he was refusing to treat them. During my last appointment he literally offered me nothing, he just kept asking what he could do for me until I gave up and left. I don't have those answers. I am not the doctor. I have NO IDEA why a doctor would treat a patient in this way when they come to him for help. If you want basic care, your issues addressed and to be treated with respect, please look elsewhere. I ended up going to Shasta Valley and they took care of everything in one visit that I had been struggling to get from Dr. Cohn for months. For the record, his staff is very nice and helpful:
Nice staff but doctor is RUDE. Needs to learn how to treat patients. I wish Google would let us put zero stars because that’s what he deserves. How hard is it to be kind and treat patients with respect? They come to you for help not for you to make them feel worse about themselves. I don’t know how your still in business.
Office staff are friendly and helpful. Dr. Cohn is rude, disrespectful, and incompetent. He is responsible for my husband’s death. STAY AWAY.
