Dr. Law has always gone above and beyond as my doctor. I was first referred to him for consultation about a rare condition that I have. Dr. Law spent quite a bit of time researching the medical literature, spoke with medical experts and offered to set up an appointment for me with a professor at a Pennsylvania medical school who is an authority on this condition. It was obvious that Dr. Law spent a significant amount of time researching and he did this at no charge.
I have never felt rushed. He is open to any questions that I have and I have always been treated with the utmost respect. I believe that he cares about his patients and am, quite frankly, flummoxed by some of the less than stellar reviews. Dr. Law strikes me as a somewhat shy person although this reserve might be a cultural difference (He's a Brit). This should not be taken as aloofness or an uncaring attitude on his part. He is, in my opinion, one of the brightest and most caring physicians that I have met and I've known more than my share of docs as I worked in healthcare decades ago.

I met Dr. Law at the CMC's Thyroid Clinic to have a thyroid nodule biopsied. I found him to be an excellent doctor: intelligent, patient, kind, and compassionate. He immediately assuaged my worries about getting an FNA on a suspicious nodule. I cannot recommend him highly enough. The entire staff was also exceptional -- Dr. Politi (radiologist), Marguerite Sterling, RN and Karen (student nurse) did their best to make me feel comfortable and less apprehensive. For their empathetic manner and gentle reassurance, I will be forever grateful!

I have found is doctoring skills a lot of guess work. For the time period (several years) he tried to regulate my BP I ended up in the hospital twice. First time, I blacked out after his prescription caused my BP to drop into the 60's. The second time, I ended up in the hospital with bp over 200, I thought I was going to died from a stroke. One stop with another Dr, my bp is now normal. I find him to be totally unreliable.

Based on reviews here it may be this Dr Law may be good choice if you have a significant medical crisis; my experience for more standard care was not as positive.
Yes, Office staff are wonderful, office is bright and clean, and my initial visit several years ago seemed promising. Since then, there has been frequent turn over in staff and I have rarely meet with the same person so I am asked the same basic questions over and over. Relatively minor but important issues like toe nail fungus have thus never been addressed because I keep being told to try a home remedy and see what happens. Also significantly, my meetings with Dr Law were consistently less than 10 minutes, resulted in order tests or some such which costs my considerably more than my insurance paid and which did not once lead to a helpful conversation or follow up with any one in the office, and always felt rushed. "Hi, things look good, great, printing out this or that for you right. done."
In short, for getting my meds renewed this was a fine choice I suppose. For addressing other health issues-- my toe fungus, a bone bruise I got from being hit by a baseball, questions about my blood pressure-- my experience here was pretty much a fail.

He was very attentive, and even called me over the weekend and at home to help me schedule an appt. for surgery at another hospital. I appreciated that he is direct and honest, no sugar-coating, but was also kind and thoughtful. Great doctor- he's really helped me tremendously.
