Dozo Japanese Restaurant

We love Dozo's food. We frequently buy takeout there and our choices are usually: Chicken Karaage, Shrimp tempura, tuna avocado roll and tuna sashimi. Here's a picture but don't judge the presentation because this was after I move the food to my plate after driving about 10km :

Friendly & welcoming staff!!! Had very speedy service with a quick turn around for our order being ready. The food was a little short cornered to speed it up, but still tasted great.

This has to be the best Japanese restaurant I've ever been to. From the food to the the staff, everything is incredible. There's only two servers. And they are the kindest, friendliest, and fastest working individuals I've ever met. The place is super busy. There's tons of take out always happening. The two staff can seat people, serve them, handle the take out, and they do everything laughing and with a smile. If you ever come here, the staff are the nicest people, and give you the best meals. Overall, the restaurant is fast working, efficient, and friendly. I cannot describe how good this place is.

Dozo house in glenmore, never disappoints. The sashimi is consistently the thickest slice and freshest tasting. It is reasonably priced for the amount that you get and the California rolls are also consistently amazing. I swear by this place and for good reason. Vegetarian options: The cucumber and avocado roll is larger than most places and tastes delicious!

It’s hard to find decent ramen in Kelowna and Dozo House did not disappoint. The place definitely has more of a takeout vibe as there was always a queue forming with the layout of tables positioned to accommodate the masses picking up their orders. Not my favourite dining in experience but the ramen was decent and the service was excellent.

Tonkotsu ramen was delicious, especially the chashu. Very friendly service as well.

Excellent sushi, passionate chef, and great menu options. If you live in North Glenmore or Wilden, then this should be your go to Japanese restaurant. We have dined in and take out on many occasions. I dine here often with my family and the service is very friendly, and they are patient with us having a 2 year old. The food is always great and often comes out faster than expected. Great location with Formosa next door for some bubble tea after dinner, or while you wait for a takeout order : Vegetarian options: My wife is vegetarian and has lots of options, altho it would be nice to have more veggie ramen options. Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly, patient and kind staff Parking: Always lots of parking in that plaza

Having moved to Kelowna almost four years ago, Dozo has consistently outdone themselves while also remaining exactly the same. The tonkotsu ramen/udon is my go to but the katsu donburi and LA rolls are also big favorites. I'll recommend this place to anyone who listens.
