I rarely take the time to post reviews but I felt compelled to do so after my first visit at Dover Women's Health. Upon researching my options dictated by insurance, I skipped right over this practice due to the online reviews. I called another location in Dover and was directed to the receptionist with no option to hold, and was instead required to leave a voicemail. This seemed a bit odd so I hung up and decided to try Dover Women's Health and I'm so thankful that I did. From the very first receptionist I spoke with, the genuine care and welcoming tone was exactly what I was looking for. I can't express enough how quick I am to refer Dr. Segil as I learned more from him about my specific situation than I had from two other doctors at reputable hospitals in Maine. His knowledge coupled with his humorous and down to Earth personality was and is well worth my 1.5hr drive to get there! I was able to obtain a consultation within 24 hours of calling and within 4 days of my initial visit, they were able to get me in and out of surgery. Thank you to the team at Dover for their professionalism and welcoming environment!

My wife was implanted with what we later found was transvaginal and abdominal inserted mesh by the surgeon in this office. Long story short she has now had 6 yes 6 major surgeries to try to correct the damage done by this minimally invasive Gold Standard surgery.

Dover Women's Health is absolutely an amazing experience. From the moment you walk in the doors and get greeted like you are one of the family. The doctors are so friendly and really know how to help you and listen your personal story. They truly believe in you and want you to be every part of the making decisions in your health. I would recommend everyone I know to this practice.
