Doug Swartz Appliance Service consistently provides exceptional customer service. During the past few months, we have purchased a new washer and dryer and wall oven and have had our refrigerator repaired. We are truly grateful for Doug's, as well as his team’s, commitment to excellence and will most definitely continue to rely on them for every future appliance purchase and repair. We extend our sincerest gratitude and thanks to Brad who took the time to advise us regarding our choice of oven, for installing it so beautifully and repairing our refrigerator so promptly. I purchased our appliances from Sears and experienced an issue with our range cook top within the 1-year warranty period. Our service call was relayed to Doug Swartz' team by Sears. Doug responded quickly in contacting me to arrange an appointment time for his service technician (Brad) to come out and fix the problem. I was very pleased with Brad's efficiency in dealing with the problem and replacing the necessary part; most especially for his professionalism and respect for my home. Very pleased that Sears placed my service needs in Doug's hands and would recommend their services.

I had a Doug Swartz serviceman come to repair a gas dryer last year. He explained it would be more cost efficient to purchase a new one and that they were good guys and the service call would be free. We purchased both a new dryer AND washer. In two months we received a nasty call about our outstanding bill for the service call. I got it straightened out, but only after the secretary slammed the phone in my ear. One year and 38 days after the purchase the dryer died. I called to ask about the warranty and was told I was too late but call the manufacturer. If they suggest they will send a serviceman, don't go for it, call Doug he would try to give me a deal. Try!!! I called GE and a 14 day grace would have been given but I was too late. SO, I called ZOLI SWARTZ and they repaired my dryer. The part cost $15.00, a small amount in promoting customer service. I try to support local business, but with this kind of "service", it will not be here.

We have been purchasing appliances from Doug for many years. Recently, we had an issue with our Frigidaire Gallery refrigerator. We had a local service technician look at it and he told us that he would order some parts and get back to us. He got back to us and told us that it would be just over a week for the parts. At that point, I contacted Doug. Doug was able to quickly identify the part we needed on the phone. Doug was also able to order it and have it at his store within 2 days. We contacted the service technician and informed him that we had sourced the part and that it would be here in 2 days. When he arrived to install the part, he thought that it was the wrong part. At that point, we contacted Doug. Doug spoke with him for 5 minutes and assured him that the part we had would fix the problem. Doug was right. A quick installation and all was fixed. Saved us a bunch of time and money. Doug and his staff really know their stuff and have always treated us very well. That is why we travel to Port Colborne to purchase our appliances.

Nice clean store, friendly staff and great repair service. I used them 3 times to repair appliances and they were fast and the price was the best. 3 years later, all appliances are still working as if they were new.
