Double J Saloon

OK, so I know the owner. Fun guy. I've been to the Double J a few times and really like it. Nice spacious bar with great drinks and free pool. If I lived closer I'd go every day. If you like a few drinks with friends it's a great place to hang out.

Cool bar, cold beer & coming from a Scottish guy who just moved here it has a good selection of whiskey. Free pool and great staff make for a good time. Pretty sure this place will become my local.

Cool laidback atmosphere, good local crowd. Great employees for the most part. The food is exceptional for a tiny bar, Jeremy smokes all the meats himself. Free pool every night, covered outdoor lounge area. Karaoke on sundays. Drinks are pricey but overall it's probably the best spot to drink in lake city

Fun little dive bar! Great place to get away for a quiet drink during the week. Caught karaoke on the weekend and it was a great local crowd.

I have been coming here for just over a year - exactly how long I've lived in the Lake City neighborhood. The brisket here is the best kept secret of North Seattle. I mean, you have your choice of 4 diverse yet iconic sauce profiles to choose from - KC, Carolina Vinegar, Hickory, and Chipotle. Being from Kansas City myself, my preference is obvious, but the star of the show is the meat itself. Always tender. Never overcooked. Mouthwatering. All of the staff is incredibly welcoming. It only took a few visits to be acknowledged by name, which is crucial at a local watering hole, which is also exactly what this establishment is for me. I've always taken it for a beer and spirit bar, but I just heard the table behind me accommodated with Prosecco, margaritas, and wine. I underestimated the depth of the bar! Important note: I have ALWAYS felt safe at this bar, which I cannot say for all establishments in my neighborhood. Keep it up, guys!

The Lake City night life! Lol! Great place to meet new people from all walks of life. People who are so happy to be back together. Theres 1 pool table that always has action. A really nice back patio for smoke breaks. The service is great most times, but on nights where there is 1 bartender, order 2 drinks! Otherwise it could take 10 to 15 minutes. Live music, karaoke, these guys are doing it right. So lucky to have this place in Lake City!

This place was great ! Mainly because my bartender, Taylor, was awesome. Although I wish they had Jell-O shots, she still picked out some solid beers for me and fun drinks for my friends. She def made it a 5 star worthy experience

On a positive note, brisket sandwich is phenomenal. But other than that, there’s no reason to come to this bar. Not welcoming. Nowhere to sit. Can’t move chairs. Maybe COVID restrictions are hampering elements of hospitality, but... just not somewhere you want to be long right now.
