Double J Hong Kong Fusion

They have an extensive menu with some fusion items. Ordered 3 dishes for a group of 3, which was ample to fill us up. The stir-fried scallops and snap peas came with 7 large scallops, which had a nice bounce. The price point was high, but understandable with the cost of seafood. Also enjoyed our stir-fried chicken and mushroom, and rice noodle dish. The noodles had a pepper indicating its level of spiciness, but we couldn't taste very much spice. The stir-fry dishes were served in nice white bowls versus the regular flat serving plates. Service was friendly and checked in on us regularly. Hope this new restaurant makes a good go of it!

Very good food, and excellent service. I love their black pepper beef pasta and Laksa. Hong Kong style coffee and lemon tea are delicious too. Place is new and clean. Convenient location, and you can eat on patio!

Had the mapo tofu and peppered beef and spaghetti noodles. Super spicy! Love it. Flavourful and reasonably priced for the portion sizes. Service was attentive and never let us run out of water which was much appreciated because they do not play around on these two spicy dishes. Location was clean and quiet with a nice window view. Great location and street parking. Will be back.

If you’re looking for authentic Hong Kong style cuisine, look no further! No other Chinese restaurant in Kelowna can compare. We ordered the Double J fried rice and Baked pork cutlet rice and the flavours were amazing. The fried rice had a savoury flavour profile while the baked pork cutlet rice had a sweet tomato sauce. Very true to Hong Kong style favours. Will be back to Double J to get my authentic chinese food fix!

If you are looking for an Hong Kong cafe/Cantonese food, don’t look any further. This place is a gem and the food is super authentic. They’ve only been open for one month during our visit so they’re still working through their service. If you are looking for a quick bite, it may not be the place for you as they still need to mature in their logistics. They are still trying to hire more cooks so it did take a long time for food to come out. Luckily, we were in no hurry. The toast was the highlight of the meal. It was super authentic and so similar to what you would get in HK. Don’t pass on this place!!!

This is a great restaurant. The food is fresh and smells so good. Lots to choose from the menu. You can mix and match pretty much what you want. Only took about 15 minutes to prepare. Was ready for pick up like they said. The noodles are very good here.

Amazing! The food and staff. The two ladies working were so nice and helpful! The food was made fresh to order…and was delicious. It’s nice to have a restaurant like this in Kelowna. Recommend everyone try it out!

Myself and a couple friends went here for dinner. We were greeted with a warm hello and given a table of our choice. There were lots of options on their menu. We were able to customize our food to our liking ordering less spicy or more spicy than indicated on the menu and they were very accommodating for this. All of our food tasted absolutely amazing! Portion sizes were very large which was great too. I will definitely be coming back. Honestly one of the best Asian dishes I've ever had.

Amazing place for real food from Hong Kong in Kelowna! Service was awsome and the food were delicious. The Laksa and Signature Baked Pork Rice with Cheese and Tomato Sauce are must try. Strongly recommend!

Had heard good reviews so gave this restaurant a try. Not disappointed! Different dishes than you see in the usual Chinese restaurant and so delicious! The honey sparerib, Double J house fried rice, spaghetti with beef, ginger beef, and stir fry prawn, chicken, beef with black bean were all fantastic! Looking forward to going back and trying some more dishes. Great service as well.
